Rossignol Circus Amptek Snowboard - Women's 2012

More spectacular than a Tim Burton movie, the Rossignol Circus Amptek Snowboard is an all-mountain board with Amptek All-Mountain camber for easy maneuverability, more stability, more pop, more punch, better flotation and the list goes on and on. The Circus features Amptek Camber which is positive camber between the feet with rockered tip and tail. The Rossignol Circus Amptek Snowboard will make you as giddy as a kid there first time at the circus.
Rocker Type
AmpTekAll-Mountain technology integrates reversed camber tips into a regular cambered board (between the feet), extending the sidecut radius to go all the way to the tip kicks so that this amber-to-reversed-camber construction guarantees faster transitions, more pop, smoother landings, increased floatation, more grip, more edge pressure and more control. AmpTek All Mountain tech is especially nimble in the powder.

        As a beginner learning how to board, my friend recommended choosing a rocker style board. This board fit those recommendations perfectly giving me a great learning experience. The board isn't too heavy for me to carry around. I don't really know how to pick a "great" board as of yet... However, I don't regret this purchase at all. Sooooo much better than the junky rental boards from ski resorts. Definitely recommends for those girls learning to ride.

          Have just ridden the board for the first weekend of the season. Was expecting some warm up time etc. But as soon as I hopped on this board I flew. So much fun, super easy to initiate turns, very flexible and forgiving, the only small thing I would say is that it can feel slightly unstable at faster speeds but in general, great board and unbelievalby good value for the price.

              Bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas. She's only been out a few times before. The board looks great. She loved the design and the bottom too. Rides really nice, she didn't catch an edge once (which I think is pretty good for a beginner) and I think it's due to the rocker-camber-rocker style. It has a good amount of flex to it, but not so much I would take it in the park. Seems to be best suited for just an all-mountain board.
