Rossignol Circuit Amptek Snowboard 2013

Short-circuit the extended learning curve most boarders face with the Rossignol Circuit Amptek Snowboard. The Circuit Amptek combines Rossignol's Auto Turn rocker profile and a Directional All-Mountain flex profile to give you a board that will take you to the next level of riding. Use the Circuit Amptek to progress your riding as fast as possible; before you know it you'll be shredding once unthinkable terrain.
Rocker Type
AMPTEK Auto Turn - A blend of 80% Rocker and 20% Camber creates an all-mountain rocker so you can ride everything in sight with ease. The majority-rocker profile allows for nimbleness in powder, while the camber under the bindings allows for precise turns on hardpack.
Flex
Directional All-Mountain - Directional flex with a stiffer flex under the back foot provides added control and a stiff waist, allowing for more stability at high speeds. A softer flex under the front foot allows for easier turning.
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - Perfect for freestyle and all mountain riding
Sidecut
Directional Twin - A stiff tail for punch on kickers and solid landings with a softer waist and nose for smoothness
Core
Wood (5620) - A single type of wood, vertically laminated gives you durability and comfort without breaking the bank.
Laminates
Glass Fiber - Glass has greater elongation before break than carbon and comes in multiple weights and weavings, making it the #1 choice for customized flex and torsional resistance. Glass fiber also stabilizes the mechanical properties of the wood core over time.
Base
Extruded 1320 - A lower density factory finished extruded base that is fast and easy to tune and does not require frequent waxing so you can spend more time riding
Binding Compatibility
Rossignol Snowboards can accommodate both 2x4 and 4x4 insert patterns.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
    Rocker/Camber/Rocker
Rocker/Camber/Rocker shapes seek to give you both hard-carving edgehold on firm snow from camber underfoot with enhanced turnability and float in powder from the rockered tip and tail. This profile is increasingly popular for freeride boards designed primarily for soft snow.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
