Product Info

The Rossignol Angus Amptek Snowboard is an awesome all-mountain ripper. A powerful charger with freestyle versatility, this board is well-suited for intermediate to advanced riders who want to progress and push their skills all over the mountain. Traditional camber underfoot with rocker in the tips and tails helps make this board float around through soft snow but still carve on the hard pack. This true twin is as at home sending it off backcountry booters as it is charging down the groomed, and the stiffer symmetrical flex helps you stay in control no matter what. Step up your game this season with the Rossingol Angus Amptek Snowboard.

Product Details

Rocker Type

AmpTek All-MountainA combination of 60% rocker and 40% camber gives you more control, stability, edge pressure and smoother landings due to the rocker profile in the nose and tail and camber profile under the bindings.

Flex

Flex Rating: 7 (1 Softest - 10 Stiffest)A stiff flex for intermediate to advanced riders looking for more precision control at high speeds, whether it be in the park, pipe, or anywhere on the hill

Twin All MountainSymmetrical flex with stiffer flex underfoot for grip and a stiff waist for increased stability at speed

Laminates

Glass FiberHas greater elongation before break than carbon and comes in multiple weights and weavings making it our #1 choice for customized flex and torsional resistance while also stabilizing the mechanical properties of our woodcores over time

S-TipsCarbon fibers run up the board's center and fork-out at the tip and tail to deliver explosive pop with enhanced playfulness. Aramid runs through the center of the base for increased shock absorption.

CarbonCombining high flexibility with high tensile strength, low weight, high resistance, and low thermal expansion makes carbon fibers the perfect pick for explosive pop.

Aramid (A.K.A Kevlar®)Commonly used in ballistical rated body armor fabric, aramid dampens vibrations and softens tough landings.

Sidewalls

ABSProvides enhanced durability while keeping the core safe from moisture

Base

Die-Cut BaseBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Sintered 4400A high density stone finished sintered base: fast, durable and a lot easier to service than the 7500 base

Comments about Rossignol Angus Amptek Snowboard 2014:

Coming from a pure camber board I was worried the early rise would make this board unstable. I was pleasantly surprised. Rossi did a great job with this board. For an intermediate rider looking to progress, its so easy to position and somehow manages to ride catch free without compromising stability. Sacrifices some in the park but still livable. Sacrifices nothing on the mountain, you can dig in hard without chatter on groomed or icy surfaces and still floats well on powder.
