Comments about Rome Romp Snowboard - Women's 2013:

I just started riding two months ago on a flat board. I was okay--I could handle greens and some blues, but my riding was pretty ugly. This board totally increased my learning curve and abilities. It can hold a sick edge and is stable at higher speeds--but it's also buttery and playful. The "no hang-up rocker" is completely true--it's almost hard to catch edge on this board. I also can't get over how easy it is to initiate turns. You literally lean a little bit to one side or the other and the board follows--I didn't think boards this easy to turn even existed. It's super easy to switch from regular to goofy, and surface 180s/360s will feel natural. I ride mostly on the east coast, and this board handles ice and packed powder like a champ. It floats in powder too though--just really is a great board all around.

I know I'm just starting out snowboarding, but after I went on and on about how great this board is on the mountain, my best friend asked if she could try it. She's been riding for 12 years and is pretty advanced. She LOVED the board. She actually ended up taking it on a few runs while I took a break at the lodge and now she's looking into buying one. She said it is one of the most fun boards she's ever ridden.

So basically, if I had to sum everything up: this is an AWESOME board for a beginner, an expert, and everyone in between. You will love it.

I got the board with red accents - it looks great and feels even better on the slopes. This is my first break out from rentals.

          I love this board!
I've been snowboarding for about 5 years now and decided to give this board a try and its just a fun all around board. I can get some good speed and it does really well in the powder. Its just a playful board that I love riding week to week. I recommend this board for anyone! Its a good board for those starting out or those that know how to ride.

Used it at whistler a few weekends ago and it was great! Tons of fresh deep powder that I would have hated on my old board but just cruised through it on this one. Really forgiving too. A few times I should have crashed for sure but didn't.

Comments about Rome Romp Snowboard - Women's 2013:

I replaced my 7 year old Burton Feelgood with this board. I was curious, and more than a little apprehensive, about the rocker/camber/rocker design, but I am very happy with my purchase. I notice a real difference in edge hold, pop, and ability to turn in all conditions. I think I may have even moved up a skill level thanks to my Romp! I have put the board through its paces on Michigan hard pack, Squaw Valley Slush/Sierra Cement, and Vail groomers and knee deep pow, and the Board excels in every way. My confidence has increased and I feel like I was maneuvering through stuff I would have had trouble with on my Burton. I love this board. My only complaint is that the edges seem to be getting nicked up quickly.

We use this in SE MI and made a trip to Holiday Valley NY and had a great time with the new board. It was a gift for my Fiance, who is a brand new boarder, she did great on all the runs even the icy ones(when she didn't bail)

I used this board the first time past Saturday and found it very light; alot of pops and easy carving or at time it can be too easy to catch the edge if you don't watch out for it.

I like the board and make sure you get the size that is right for you; not good for too long on this board.
