Rome Lo-Fi Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011: For riders who like their park board on the super playful side, the Rome Lo-Fi Rocker features a smooth, buttery flex profile that is mellow on landings and press-happy on boxes. To explore the shred beyond park features, this board also can handle speed and quickness when you want to take your bag full of tricks to the whole mountain. New PressurePop Technology loads a bunch of power into the reverse camber Poprock Technology.
Flex
This board has a feel that is both poppy and buttery, and excels on everything from jumps to jibs and pow lines.
Construction and Core
The SuperPop Core Matrix is lightweight wood orientation for extra pop off the nose and tail. The Reverse Free Camber rocker is for those riders who like running park laps as much as they like shredding pow lines; reverse camber extends just beyond the inserts with straight camber in the nose and tail for a board that butters, carves, floats and jibs.
Base
The Sinter True Base is wax absorbent and strong, and ups speed for extended play.
Sidewalls and Edges
The StraighBiax Carbon Laminate is a super smooth and catch free feel that is lighter and poppier with carbon. PressurePop Technology is new tech that adds ollie pop as well as power off your edge.

I first purchased a 2009 Rome Lo-fi positive camber in 10'. It was one of the best boards to progress with. Started playing in the park and free obsticles and loved it. I have heard rockers are the New "in" thing for park riders, I found this to be correct. The Lo-fi rocker adds a fabulous catch free ride the original couldn't. Butters take no effort as I practically flex the board into a taco! Yes, a taco. . That's some flex! Its also equiped with progressive edges upon arrival. Able to dig when you need it, and slide when you don't. I love this board. Used it about 4 times, and going up today! Already killed more things then I thought possible. I'd reccomend this to anyone who is ready to attempt knew things and not feel limited by her equipment :)

This board is the best for jumps. It gives you an extra pop and you get a lot of air without even trying. However, this board is not as buttery/flexible as I expected. I would not recommend this as a trick/park board. Overall, this is a good board and i see no problems using it for everyday riding in the icy/slushy terrain of New Jersey. I don't know how it would do in the powder.

      Comments about Rome Lo-Fi Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

The Rome Lo-Fi Rocker is the choice of our pro riders like MFR and AmArmy riders like Megan Middleton. The Lo-Fi Rocker has tons of Pop for women who are pushing their talent and boundaries of what can be done on a snowboard. The Lo-Fi Rocker has a forgiving flex to help you progress and like all of Rome's mens boards is built with Impact Plates for bomb proof reliability.

          Comments about Rome Lo-Fi Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

Awesome board and awesome to look at. The graphics are slick on the 149 with blue and fuchsia, and the peace sign looks tight. I didn't have to cover this board up with stickers like my last one. I enjoy the pop and rocker style which allows me to maneuver flawlessly. I searched the-house for hours and I ended up at Evo which took me less than an hour to decide I wanted this board once I read the other reviews and did my own research. To qualify myself, I've snowboarded for seven years on and off. I regularly find myself hitting jumps, moguls, doing some rails, but mostly speeding down black diamonds. It was crucial to have a free ride board which gave me some pop, but awesome stability when flying straight down a double black diamond. Couldn't be happier.

Great Board for the rider wishing to opt out of renting and invest in a solid platform to grow with and not present to much difficulty. Tough board for all mountain conditions (unsure about deep powder though). Great pop, stiffness, and ease of use. This board really allows beginners to accelerate to the intermediate level and beyond.

I used to own the Rome Detail, which i like a lot when i first learned snowboard on it - light and easy to turn. Then I decided to switch to Lo-Fi rocker because I wanted to go faster as I progress. It definitely met my expectation. I, for the first time, was able to ride on black the first day i tried this board (granted it was a little better snow condition)! It is very soft and light. Also the landing for jumps feels more mellow and stable. I fell in love with it the first day i rode it! Definitely a fun board to play with and get better on!

                    Comments about Rome Lo-Fi Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2011:

Overall this is a really fun board. It pops off jumps but is also really buttery. It handles high speeds pretty well and is awesome in the power - really rides like you are on a cloud. It is responsive and forgiving in the park. The only con is if you like to cut/carve sharply - it doesn't hold a super strong edge but its not really made for that (which makes sense cause this board is made for the park and pow)
