Rome Lo-Fi Rocker Snowboard - Blem - Women's 2014

Finally a board designed for women who love the powder as much as the park. The Rome Lo-Fi Rocker Snowboard will take your riding to the next level, designed to withstand the beating of jib sessions and stay afloat while slashing endless amounts of powder with ease. Rome's Freepop Rocker technology delivers a flat camber and rocker combo, where the flat camber section gives more versatile response allowing for edge control and smooth landings, while the rocker in the nose and tail give smooth style on rails and massive float in powder. Keep up with the boys or outsmart them with the Rome Lo-Fi Rocker. **This is a factory blem board and may have slight cosmetic damage.**
Rocker Type
FreePop Rocker - A flat camber-and-rocker combo where the flat camber section extends 5 cm wider than the inserts. The extended flat section gives more versatile response and allows for edge control and smooth landings, while the rocker in the nose and tail give float in powder and smooth style on rails.

Flex
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - A medium flex for a mix of playful and powerful riding.
Shape
True Twin - Everything from the center of the board out towards the nose and tail is exactly the same. Perfect for riding switch
Core
HotRods: Glass Single Barrel - A thin glass rod is milled into the centerline of the board under the bindings and out towards the nose and tail, which provides more pop, without adding any unwanted stiffness.
SuperPop Core Matrix - Three zones of low-density wood with extended segments of poplar for a light and smooth flex transition and a highly responsive snappy pop feel

Laminates
PressurePop Technology: Basalt-V - Lightweight earth friendly material made to direct power from under your bindings to immediate contact points with the snow gives snappy turn initiations and power filled pop.
StraightBiax Laminate - Laminate that optimizes smooth flexing and is designed for freestyle riding

Base
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
SinterTrue Base - Strong and wax absorbent sintered base allows for an average day of all mountain and park riding.
Binding Compatibility
Rome Snowboards will accommodate 2x4 and 4x4 insert patterns.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Shape: True Twin
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
