Comments about Rome Heist Snowboard - Women's 2014:

I've only rented Burton boards in the past. This is my first board and I think I really got an awesome deal for the money.

First of all, this board handles extremely well. If I had to pick any board to tackle a run full of moguls, this would be the board. It's flexible and stable with plenty of pop, and the rocker in the middle makes it really easy to do some tight carving.

In fact, it's almost harder to stabilize this board through a wide turn vs a tight turn. Yeah, because of the camber, it's easy to catch an edge when turning, which is why I don't recommend this board for a beginner.

This board is also a little more difficult to ride through powder. But wow, you will pick up some serious speed on the groomers and be able to ride it through.

It's all wood so it's a little heavier than other boards, but this board won't disappoint.

Comments about Rome Heist Snowboard - Women's 2014:

I've just rented in the past and this is my first board. I compared it to a Roxie with the same Camber/Rocker combo and I believe it's basically the same board without the serrated edges. Even so, this board holds an edge great, even on icy surfaces! It's still a new board so that probably has a lot to do with it.
Turning is so smooth and easy on this board. The rocker in the middle is what makes it so. If I were gonna do moguls with any board, I'd do it with this board. The stability is great and the board has a lot of pop and flex.
Although, because of the camber, it's easy to catch an edge and get off balance when turning, which is why I don't recommend this board for a beginner. Doing tight turns on this board (b/c of the rocker) is almost easier than doing long ones. The camber does help with speed on the groomers, that's for sure!! Riding powder is a little more difficult though.
Overall, a very awesome board for the money. This board won't disappoint.

Comments about Rome Heist Snowboard - Women's 2014:

I've only been out a couple times on this board this winter. It has a lifetime ahead of it and it should be lasting me for a while! Out of the four boards I've owned, this one is by far my favorite. I spent weeks trying to find the right board and I knew this was the right one; not because of the looks, but it's capability, carving, and flexibility is incredible.

Comments about Rome Heist Snowboard - Women's 2014:

I haven't had a new board in quite a few years and I've only been able to ride three days as I had a baby the beginning of the year so only squeaked in a couple of days at the end of this season. I don't have much to compare it to, but I loved it! It was smooth, fast and I adjusted easily to the new technology on this board. My old board was stiff and didn't have the flex or the ability to go flat. I love how fast it is and how smooth my carving is. I haven't been able to do park stuff though
