Get ready 'cause the Gold is comin' in hott, slashing up walls, bombing chutes and floating effortlessly in fields of pow! Having a MtnPop Rocker profile gives ample, effortless float in the pow as well as having plenty of power and response for popping off lips and slaying railed out turns. Now please, give another welcoming round of applause for the snowboard that is cranking up women's snowboarding like its on steroids. Nice, healthy, friendly steroids.
Rocker Type
MtnPop Rocker - Rocker between the feet with positive camber in the nose and tail. For some riders, this is the best of both worlds—plenty of float in powder and playfulness between the feet, and plenty of power and responsiveness to pop off lips and rip turns from the positive camber in the nose and tail.

Flex
Flex Rating: 10 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - A stiff flex for powerful turns and lightning quick response
Shape
Directional - Made for carving and backcountry riding, not for freestyle riding
Sidecut
QuickRip Sidecut - Advanced sidecut geometry gives a short, playful feel at slower speeds and a longer, faster and more stable feel at higher speeds. The mid-board contact points end the running length at slow speeds and add grip at high speeds.

Core
SuperPop Core Matrix - Three zones of low density wood with extended segments of Poplar create a light, smooth transition of flex and and a snappy reply of pop.
Laminates
StraightTriax30 - The laminate that covers all the bases—from the park to all mountain peaks, the 30-degree off-axis fibers set the personality of the board to flex into low speed butters and pop into high speed takeoffs. Provides some extra kick in a slash and maintains your style while getting creative on and off the trails.
Pressure Pop Technology: Kevlar V - Found in high-end boards with fast power transfer from the bindings to your contact points with the snow, it's a lethal combination of ultra-light material and highly responsive snap.
HotRods - A Glass Single Barrel is milled into the core under the bindings and goes out towards the nose/tail to provide for snappy pop and fast response.
Base
SinterSpeed - Bomb hills and straight-line runs—absorbing the most wax a base can handle, this ultra porous sintered technology creates a board with maximum speed output and minimal input.
Binding Compatibility
Rome Snowboards will accommodate 2x4 and 4x4 insert patterns.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Camber/Rocker/Camber
    Camber/Rocker/Camber
Camber/Rocker/Camber is a profile that’s specific to snowboards and which works because the rider’s weight flattens the two cambered areas. This design produces a strong, pressured carving zone between the rider’s feet and retains pop and carving precision at the tip and tail.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Very Stiff
    Very Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
