Product Info

The fun won't ever end on the Rome Crossrocket Snowboard. A NoHang-Ups Pop 2.0 rocker lessens your chances of catching and edge but keeps the powerful pop of camber for a balanced profile that floats powder, stabilizes landings, and provides all-mountain support. It's SinterTrue Base is what gives it the "rocket" name, as it is fast as @#$% and will get you to the chair before your buddies. Their SuperPop Core Matrix is reinforced with Z-Tech and HotRods to form the trifecta of ollie power and to bring you to new heights. All-mountain ripping and immense airs are what make the Rome Crossrocket Snowboard an exhilarating board any day on the mountain.

Product Details

Rocker Type

NoHang-Ups PopThis camber blends the best of both positive camber and rocker in one board. The Diamond is positive camber, which gives the power and control of camber all the way until 10 mm short of the contact points. Outside the Diamond, 3D Continuous Curvilinear Rocker gives the float and fun of rocker.

Flex

Butterout Transition ZonesRome elongated the transition from the sidecut into the nose and tail to give a smoother feel when landing, spinning or buttering.

Shape

Almost TwinTwin between contact points (what touches the snow is twin), flex is twin and stance is centered in a twin position. Outside of contact points, the nose is slightly longer than the tail for more float in powder

Quickrip SidecutOff-set sidecuts for loose fun at slow speeds, and responsive precision at high speeds

Core

SuperPop Core MatrixSuper snappy flex through the use of long poplar wood segments and three zones of low-density wood.

Laminates

StraightTriax 30 LaminateStraighttriax 30 Laminate takes 30˚ fibers to deliver response for handling all terrain and flex for a park-friendly feel.

Z-Tech 1.0Rome added a centerline band of Zylon to enhance the snowboards power. Zylon is a fiber that is lightweight, snappy, and extremely strong. The result of placing a 1" strip of Zylon increases your ollie pop without increasing the snowboards stiffness.

TurboRods - Carbon Single BarrelNew levels of pop with carbon rods that use kinetic energy.

Base

SinterTrue BaseStrong and wax absorbent, this is the first level of speed through the power of a sintered base. All the speed you need for daily park riding or racing for the untracked lines

Die-Cut BaseBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Binding Compatibility

Rome Snowboards will accommodate 2x4 and 4x4 insert patterns.

Killer stick!!

Comments about Rome Crossrocket Snowboard 2015:

I couldn't be happier with this purchase! Everything I've been looking for in a board and suits my riding style perfectly. From park to pow, this board handles it all. The no hang ups profile takes a couple laps to get used to but after your dialed in its super fun. Pop is amazing on this deck compared to the hybrid camber and flat boards I've had in the past. The tips are pretty flat and are similar to capita decks. Flex is a little on the stiffer side, but I can see it breakin loose after a season, and nice flex zone right at the bindings for some steezie manuals. Also the black top sheet is lookin tough!

Comments about Rome Crossrocket Snowboard 2015:

Super fun board. Takes a couple laps to get the feel for it but once your dialed this rocket will shoot wherever pointed. Incredible pop and super lightweight make it an awesome on jumps. The camber profile is pretty much flat, so other than the stiffness, it feels just like a park board. Super fast super fun, definitely recommended.

Comments about Rome Crossrocket Snowboard 2015:

This is an excellent all mountain board. Great flex and pop. You edge carves very nice and the no hang ups pop gives you that extra help when landing any jumps. You can still have a great day in the park as well as the back woods. So it's that board you can use all day with no excuses and no need to bring multiple sticks.

Floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee. Love it in the powder. Love it on groomers. Love looking at it. It's as fast as I wanted it to be. Just be careful of the other fools sitting next to you on the chair and in the lift lines...those are my only scratches.

I have ridden it on groomers, slush, and rails this far and it has surpassed my expectations in regards. Also, what a deal! Buy this board!

This board was a bit wild upon first ride, due to changing from rocker to camber, but once the beast was tamed I have to say this is the most agile fun board I have ever ridden. Its great between the trees and fun in the park and allows for some quick and stylish freeriding.
