Product Info

The fun won't ever end on the Rome Crossrocket Snowboard. A NoHang-Ups Pop 2.0 rocker lessens your chances of catching and edge but keeps the powerful pop of camber for a balanced profile that floats powder, stabilizes landings, and provides all-mountain support. It's SinterTrue Base is what gives it the "rocket" name, as it is fast as @#$% and will get you to the chair before your buddies. Their SuperPop Core Matrix is reinforced with Z-Tech and HotRods to form the trifecta of ollie power and to bring you to new heights. All-mountain ripping and immense airs are what make the Rome Crossrocket Snowboard an exhilarating board any day on the mountain.

Product Details

Rocker Type

NoHang-Ups PopThis camber blends the best of both positive camber and rocker in one board. The Diamond is positive camber, which gives the power and control of camber all the way until 10 mm short of the contact points. Outside the Diamond, 3D Continuous Curvilinear Rocker gives the float and fun of rocker.

Flex

Butterout Transition ZonesRome elongated the transition from the sidecut into the nose and tail to give a smoother feel when landing, spinning or buttering.

Shape

Almost TwinTwin between contact points (what touches the snow is twin), flex is twin and stance is centered in a twin position. Outside of contact points, the nose is slightly longer than the tail for more float in powder

Quickrip SidecutOff-set sidecuts for loose fun at slow speeds, and responsive precision at high speeds

Core

SuperPop Core MatrixSuper snappy flex through the use of long poplar wood segments and three zones of low-density wood.

Laminates

StraightTriax 30 LaminateStraighttriax 30 Laminate takes 30˚ fibers to deliver response for handling all terrain and flex for a park-friendly feel.

Z-Tech 1.0Rome added a centerline band of Zylon to enhance the snowboards power. Zylon is a fiber that is lightweight, snappy, and extremely strong. The result of placing a 1" strip of Zylon increases your ollie pop without increasing the snowboards stiffness.

TurboRods - Carbon Single BarrelNew levels of pop with carbon rods that use kinetic energy.

Base

SinterTrue BaseStrong and wax absorbent, this is the first level of speed through the power of a sintered base. All the speed you need for daily park riding or racing for the untracked lines

Die-Cut BaseBase color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.

Binding Compatibility

Rome Snowboards will accommodate 2x4 and 4x4 insert patterns.

Amazing board, so much flexible play on both ends of the board. The lightweight body makes the board *POP* as well as easy to maneuver all mountain. Overall I love this board, and would buy it over and over again.

Comments about Rome Crossrocket Snowboard 2015:

I have been riding since I was 8 y/o, 29 now, and I can honestly say this is one of the best boards I have ever ridden. It is highly responsive, light, and very quick. I have ridden it on groomers, slush, and rails this far and it has surpassed my expectations in regards. Also, what a deal! Buy this board!

Comments about Rome Crossrocket Snowboard 2015:

This board was a bit wild upon first ride, due to changing from rocker to camber, but once the beast was tamed I have to say this is the most agile fun board I have ever ridden. Its great between the trees and fun in the park and allows for some quick and stylish freeriding.
