Ride Machete Snowboard 2012

Strap yourself into the Ride Machete Snowboard and get on the cutting edge of the snowboard world. The combination of Ride’s LowRize™ Rocker shape with the embedded Pop Rods® technology turns the board into a poppy, go-anywhere freestyle twin. Snag a couple of buddies and have a good time slashing down the mountain on this fun, surfy Ride.
Rocker Type
LowRize™ Rocker - A twin rockered shape that lifts the contact points just out of the snow and has a nearly flat zone under foot.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 6, mid-range flex rating makes the Ride machete Snowboard perfect for turning the mountain into your personal park.
Shape
Thin Construction - Features a tapered tip and tail to reduce swing weight, enhanced tip flex, and sidewalls that run past the effective edge.
Sidecut
True twin
Core
Pop Rods® 1.0 - Provides supreme pop and snap
Wood core
Laminates
Biaxial - 90 degree and 0 degree angles for a fun forgiving ride
Sidewalls
Slimewalls® - The virtually indestructible 85A sidewall technology wins on absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. The urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on.
Base
Fusion 4000 Base™ - Hard and durable giving you one of the fastest base materials out there (sintered).
Edges
Cleave Edge™ - Durable, equipped with 50% more steal for unmatched resistance and cracking prevention.
Additional Features
Carbon Array 3™ - Power distributing technology that provides total board control in every stance. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Binding Compatibility
2 x 4
