Ride Shop all Ride
Get a whiff of the high life by riding an all-mountain masterpiece that rides effortless in pow as well as groomers. Complete with all of Ride's latest UL tech, the Ride Highlife UL Snowboard is the type of deck that has no limits. This is a directional twin deck with a slightly stiffer flex to provide excellent float in powder and quick response on groomers, all without limiting your park riding capabilities. The Ride Highlife UL features a playful rocker profile in the tip, and the grippy stability of camber under your foot and through the tail. From the powder to corduroy, the versatile Ride Highlife UL Snowboard is an intoxicating Ride that can do it all.
Rocker Type
Hybrid All Mountain - Hybrid All Mountain enhanced response with a level micro-camber zone that extends from under the feet through the tail: a perfect blend of rocker and camber, built for charging, response and smooth performance
Feel-O-Meter: 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - This is a stiffer, responsive flex designed for hard chargers who take on the the entire mountain. Ride's Feel-O-Meter rating is adjusted year to year to align with current industry standards. A board unchanged from last year may receive a new feel number this year if the industry scale shifts.
Directional Twin - A combination of twin and directional snowboards, directional twins feature a similar size tip and tail but the tip is more flexible than the tail.
Silencer 5™ Core - Purifies the response from Ride's Pop Glass, Carbon Arrays and linear reinforcements by filtering out vibration for a super smoothed-out snappy core
UL Core - Built to smooth the Ride and lighten the load // The UL Core has tip-to-tail full thickness silencer stringers, placed strategically within the wood core for high strength and less weight.
Carbon Array 5™ Laminate - This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location with widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone to gather input from any stance width and pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Pop Glass - 90° Carbon Fibers stitched in the glass provide extra pop, without adding extra stiffness. Ride's unique glass designs are flatter and more consistent; therefore they are stronger with no gaps or stretching as can be found in woven glass.
Popwalls™ Sidewall - This totally unique sidewall combines layers of Slimewalls® material and carbon strategically placed at the inserts out to the contact points in the tip and tail on a twin, and the back inserts to the contact points in the tail on a directional board. This exclusive tech enhances the charging riders' experience as Ride has moved the carbon pop construction to the outside edge for better stability and enhanced response.
UL Base - Light and fast - pretty much the lightest base on the the market
UL Steel - Same Rockwell hardness, built thinner and ultra light, but not lacking the die-hard Ride durability
Membrain® Top Sheet - Weighing less than half of traditional plastic top sheets, Membrain® maintains a smooth feel by infusing urethane into fabric. Along with pushing limits in the world of light weight, this process also allows Ride to push the boundaries when it comes to graphics by utilizing the textures and aesthetics associated with a variety of fabrics.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber
This features rocker in the nose and a camber extending under the feet through the tail. It is Built for riders that demand superior grip, stability, and responsive performance, but who still want to be able to float in powder.
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
