Ride Crush Snowboard 2012

Though this board is titled the Crush, it is anything but a short-lived love. With Ride Lowrize™ Rocker and a buttery soft flex, this fun board will keep you going for hours whether you’re hitting the park or slashing the groomers. Packed with the latest in Ride’s technology, the Ride Crush Snowboard is sure to give you a fun and smooth day on the mountain.
Rocker Type
LowRize™ Rocker - A twin rockered shape that lifts the contact points just out of the snow and has a nearly flat zone under foot.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 3, buttery soft flex makes for a fun and surfy feel.
Shape
Thin Construction - Features a tapered tip and tail to reduce swing weight, enhanced tip flex, and sidewalls that run past the effective edge.
Core
Foundation Tuned Core™ - Tip-to-tail wood core with proven durability that retains pop and flex.
Laminates
Biaxial - 90 degree and 0 degree angles for a fun forgiving ride
Sidewalls
Slimewalls® - The virtually indestructible 85A sidewall technology wins on absorbing impacts rather than defending against them. The urethane in Slimewalls® smoothes the interaction with the snow, wood or metal surfaces you may ride on.
Base
Fusion 1500 Base™ - The industry standard for a wax absorbing and easy to repair base.
Edges
Cleave Edge™ - Durable, equipped with 50% more steal for unmatched resistance and cracking prevention.
Topsheet
Membrain® - Weighing less than half of traditional plastic top sheets, Membrain® maintains a smooth feel by infusing urethane into fabric. Along with pushing limits in the world of lightweight, this process also allows artists to push the boundaries when it comes to graphics by utilizing the textures and aesthetics associated with a variety of fabrics.

Comments about Ride Crush Snowboard 2012:

First off, the guys at Evo are awesome. I had a warranty return and it was handled painlessly. I consider myself an advanced overall rider although I'm prob an intermediate park rider. I picked up this deck with the intention of spending more time in the park. The ride is loose and maneuverable. It's easy to spin and locks into rails nicely. Although it is aimed at the park rider, it handles decently on the steeps and at speed. It is a bit looser on groomers than what I'm accustomed to but I adjusted quickly and was finding it handling fine.

Comments about Ride Crush Snowboard 2012:

I love this Board! I had a Burton Dominant before that I liked for jibs but it was a camber board. I was a little bit nervous to buy a rocker board because I had never ridden one before. When I got the board, I was super impressed with the top sheet of the board because of its bright colors that look awesome. It also is a great board for stickers because of how clear they look on the board.

When I first rode it, I took it to Park City (utah) to do all mountain, freestyle, and park riding. The adjustment to a rocker board took me a run or two but it was a quick and easy adjustment. I almost prefer the rocker feel because of the ease on the snow. The edges are great for carving and the flex is perfect for presses and jumps.

Another worry I had was that it would be too soft for kickers and jumps. I hit a couple jumps and boxes with it and it held up great. Its a lighter board that was great for jumps and spins. Its forgiving on the landings too which helps if you miss landings or over rotate.

Overall, its been my favorite board ive owned. Its my 3rd board and it does all that I need it too and more! I would most definitely recommend this board to anyone who needs a board that is sturdy and will hold up through the park and all around the mountain.

Comments about Ride Crush Snowboard 2012:

It is really lightweight, and I like the design a lot. However, after only using it a few times, I hit a small branch and it chipped a big piece off the top of the board. Therefore, I'd have to say it dings too easily.

Comments about Ride Crush Snowboard 2012:

Pretty fun board, very bright and I get loads of compliments on it. I own the 155, about 5'10" 180 lbs. looks red online but it's more of a neon red/orange. I use It for local parks such as Bear Mtn& Snow summit, and also for Tahoe Heavenly and North Star. Board performed exceptionally well for all those terrain. One complaint I have about this board is the nose/tail doesn't concave up at all. Almost like you're riding a flat stick. With that case, I lightly nipped a tree and now an inch of my top sheet on the nose is coming apart. Not a huge deal since epoxy can fix that. Otherwise, it's been my favorite all Mtn board so far due to it being so light !
