Comments about Ride Control Snowboard 2009:

This board I was a little skeptical about when I bought, but it turned out to be pretty awesome.
I was trying out a new size, I usually ride ~155 but I went down to 151 for more control and it turns greatly, not to mention having a good design.
Thee boarded got a ding in it on my first day to okemo, but Only one from the park I assume.
The board lives up to its name, it has more control than any rental I've used, and my old board.
This board breaks in VERY slowly though, took me almost one full 12 hour day to get the board nice enough for a hard blue , let alone moguls.
I used this board on some very thin cover trails, and through some very thick slush (at least 8" of slush) and it coped nicely. After a 3 day outing at okemo the sharp turns are still a little sluggish and hard to maneuver but I'll have to see if its better next year on the slopes.

Comments about Ride Control Snowboard 2009:

This is the first board I've owned. I selected it after researching several of the major manufacturer's entry level boards. Although most of the manufacturer's put together good products in this class that I would have been happy to own, the deciding factors on this board were graphics and price.

My experience using the board is perhaps far better than my credibility to analyze one's performance. The bottom line: I had a great ride, and I don't regret my purchase at all.

Comments about Ride Control Snowboard 2009:

This was my first board, ever(162). I went from newbie to fairly decent this year, even bought a second board and sold this one. Newbie Greens to the big double ds, and some 10 and 15 foot kickers. Its fast, and a very very smooth ride. It doesn't turn as well as some other boards out there, which is good for a beginner on some levels, I think. Once you can carve well on this, a little one, you can tear it up with ease.

I did notice it got dings pretty easily, and even had a quarter sized chip within the first 2 weeks on back corner (probably someone elses doing)

Comments about Ride Control Snowboard 2009:

I am an intermediate level snowboarder. Before this purchase I rented. This board does everything well that I expect it to do. Groomed runs, bumps, through the trees, it turns easily and is relatively stable at speed. Deep powder is a challenge, but that may be me. I don't ride half pipes. This is my first season on the board. The wear seems normal. No bad dings or gouges.

I've rode on it for 6 times in this season since i bought it. This is a very nice ride product comparing to the price of it. Although it is not for tricks, but if you are a speed rider, this is right for you. I love it. I will recommend Ride Company for snowboards

This board is stable when you want it to be, but light enough to tweak and spring when you're in the park. Rides great in the powder. Ultimately, this Ride board provides control in all mountain conditions! Very happy with this board and you can't beat the prices at evogear.
