Product Info

Buck Up and Ride (see what we did there) a snowboard built to handle a high-throttle style of riding. The Ride Buck Up Snowboard is the creme of the crop for slaying slopestyle comps or just lapping the park. Ride engineers worked closely with Seb Toots to design the Buck Up, resulting in a durable true twin snowboard that comes with tons of pop and response. Product Details

Rocker Type

Hybrid TwinHybrid Twin intensifies response by including a level micro-camber zone between the feet. A finely tuned combination of rocker and camber for progressive park riding.

Flex

Feel-O-Meter: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)This is a medium flex designed for all-mountain freestyle riding. Ride's Feel-O-Meter rating is adjusted year to year to align with current industry standards. A board unchanged from last year may receive a new feel number this year if the industry scale shifts.

Shape

TwinCompletely symmetrical with identical tip and tail measurements and flex pattern

Core

Pop Rods® 2.0 CoreRide's Pop Rods® give already fun and playful boards the added liveliness to set them apart from the competition. Using strategic placement in the boards tip and/or tail, this technology adds pop without the stiffness generally associated with snappy boards. Made up of flat carbon rods that wrap a urethane slime-core, Pop Rods® have carbon for massive pop and a slime-core to smooth out the landing.

Laminates

Carbon Array 3™ LaminateThis power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.

Hybrid GlassTriaxial fiberglass on top and biaxial on the base results in balanced torsion and stiffness for better response at speed. Ride's unique glass designs are flatter, more consistent and therefore stronger, without the gaps or stretching of woven glass.

Sidewalls

Popwalls™ SidewallThis totally unique sidewall combines layers of Slimewalls® material and carbon strategically placed at the inserts out to the contact points in the tip and tail on a twin, and the back inserts to the contact points in the tail on a directional board. This exclusive tech enhances the charging riders' experience as Ride has moved the carbon pop construction to the outside edge for better stability and enhanced response.

Base

Fusion 4000™ BaseMore durable, harder and faster than extruded bases, Fusion 4000™ is the fastest base material known (sintered). Ride invented and owns the Fusion Base™ Technology in which material is formed together for a solid, fast Ride every time.

Binding Compatibility

2 x 4 Inserts

Comments about Ride Buck Up Snowboard 2014:

I hadn't been snowboarding in over 9 years and this board has instantly raised my skill level. This board is light, fast and has lots of pop. Carries speed well and is virtually bulletproof. Works eveeywhere on the hill from park to 18" of pow. Love this board and Ride gear in general and I am a diehard Burton snob so dont think twice, this board simply cannot be beat at this price point.

    Service and delivery comments:

    Standard 5 day shipping time.
Box was ripped at top but luckily board was literally an inch below tear.
Board was in fine shape and appreciated the delicious Kind bar.

Comments about Ride Buck Up Snowboard 2014:

I use this board almost every day during the winter and I'd have to say it blows other boards away. It's tough if your wondering and it is just so worth it. If this is on your list of boards to buy and you aren't sure, let me tell you you'll have no regrets buying this board because I was the same way and I went with my gut choice and I wasn't disappointed, trust me, you fall in love with this board and it does the one thing other boards don't, it makes tricks feel easy and it helps you build your confidence, and when you do get into a sticky situation, you'll know the board will guide you out of it if you let it, alright you get the point, I'm going boardin

Comments about Ride Buck Up Snowboard 2014:

I use this board all over the mountain, park, powder, groomers, and it provides a lot of energy everywhere I go. Carving is seamless. The board bombs down the mountain and stays very stable. There is lots of pop in my Ollies, often a surprising amount, which makes jibbing all over the mountain really fun! As an all-mountain rider that loves to hit the rails and jumps, but loves to get lost in the woods a bit, this board is everything I could ask for.
