Ride Baretta Snowboard - Women's 2013

The world of board size opportunity is being opened to a broader range of women by the Ride Baretta Snowboard. With a right sized board profile, riders have the option of riding a long model for more float, or a shorter one without the toe drag, so you can ride the right size regardless of your boot size. The Baretta is a directional, go anywhere board that’s fun and adventurous. The All Mountain Rocker shape gives you a loose and playful ride with LowRize® rocker for a flat zone underfoot giving stability and edge grip.
Rocker Type
All Mountain Rocker - Provides a directional board profile with LowRize™ rocker in the tip and stable flat zone underfoot carrying well beyond the inserts into the tail. A performance-fueled shape ideal for exploring everything the mountain has to offer.
Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 6, made to go anywhere on the mountain for freestyle fun.
Shape
LSD (Ladies Specific Design) - The board shape features a narrower waist width, a ladies specific flex pattern, sidecut and finely tuned rocker profile.
Thin Con Construction - Features a tapered tip and tail to reduce swing weight, enhanced tip flex, and sidewalls that run past the effective edge.
Sidecut
Directional Twin Sidecut - Performs slightly better riding forward than switch
Core
Performance Tuned Core™ - A high strength Aspen core with bamboo and other lightweight woods that provides the perfect balance of strength and lightness.
Laminates
Hybrid Glass - Built with triaxial on top, biaxial on base, and a balanced torsion and stiffness for better response with speed.
Sidewalls
Slimewalls® - These skate-inspired urethane sidewalls are forgiving and ductile, absorbing impact when it occurs. The urethane gives you smooth interaction with the snow, wood, or metal surfaces. To top it off, Slimewalls® are practically indestructible.
Base
Fusion 1500 Base™ - This extruded base is the industry standard; it quickly absorbs wax and is easy to repair.
Topsheet
Membrain® - Weighing less than half of traditional plastic top sheets, Membrain® maintains a smooth feel by infusing urethane into fabric. Along with pushing limits in the world of lightweight, this process also allows artists to push the boundaries when it comes to graphics by utilizing the textures and aesthetics associated with a variety of fabrics.
Additional Features
Carbon Array 3™ - This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. Widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.
Linear Carbon - Adds more snap for ollie power. Carbon is used to increase pop and liveliness with the added benefit of strength.
NEW Right Sized Series - The unique Right Sized shape opens up a world of board size opportunity to a broader range of women riders. This new board profile allows ladies to ride a longer women's model with more float, perfect for big mountain charging and pow, or ride shorter without the toe drag if that better suits your style. Ultimately giving you the ability to ride what size is right for you, regardless of your boot size.
Binding Compatibility

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat
  • Shape: Directional Twin
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
