The Nitro Suprateam has been the one snowboard that provides transitions from park runs to insane cliff drops without breaking a sweat. By adding nitro’s new slicecore, Suprateam Snowboard is lighter in weight and more responsive. A directional shape and an extended nose and tail result in smooth powder landings.
- Topsheet Finish:mirror finish ultra high gloss with metal and leather inlays, Base Finish - two colors die-cut base with screened print and aluminum inlay, Sidewall Finish - two color pin lined
- Slicecore:Nitro uses 3mm thin slices of wood, which add more strength by allowing the wood to lie flat and warp less under pressure using new technology. In a special boiling process, the resin in the wood is reduced to achieve a perfect and consistent weight and density ratio. This combination of techniques results in a core that is lightweight and has more strength than other cores on the market
- Carbon Enhanced Triax Lay Up:a special triax glass lay up with additional longitudinal carbon fiber rowings for powerful turns and perfect torsional control
Profile Tip - Nitro’s profile tip was done from a direct request by our team. By thinning the cores at the tip and tail it reduces swing weight and also helps with absorbing impact for added durability
- Sintered Base:Nitro’s sintered bases are super hard and durable. They are also highly wax absorbing, giving them increased speed and glide performance
Sidewall Construction - Nitro exclusive profile offers reduced sidewall volume for less weight, while maintaining strength and precise edge control
- Progressive Sidecut:Nitro blends two radii together for easy, natural turn initiation and increased edge grip
