Nitro Sub Pop Snowboard 2010: Too excited to wait for next year, Nitro introduced their newest technology with the Sub Pop Snowboard as an early release of next year’s line. It took Nitro years of development and testing to develop Gullwing camber and build a board that will take your rail riding to the next level and make your technical street riding a piece of cake. The camber in the Sub Pop relieves pressure from the contact points so all the control is right between your feet while still providing solid ollie power without a soggy feel. The Nitro Sub Pop also features Drifter Base that slightly raises the edges under your feet to make it easier to get through kinks without rail damage. This board will allow you to break through to a never seen before level of riding. How do you think Andreas Wiig got so good?

  • New Combat Core:Engineered wood composite built to take the abuse
  • Bi-Lite Laminates:Biaxial fiberglass for effortless turns and a forgiving flex.
  • Dual digressive sidecut:Makes landings and takeoffs effortless without sacrificing powderful turns.
  • Hi-Def FH Base:Nitro’s ultra clear base material blend is fast and durable.
  • Gullwing Camber and drifter base:Ultimate combination of looseness and control.

Comments about Nitro Sub Pop Rocker Snowboard 2010:

Real soft jib board with lots of ollie power thanks to the reverse camber between your legs and camber under your bindings. The bevel convex shape of the base gives a real easy and loose ride.

Great for nose and tail presses on snow, rails, or boxes. Even in pow it's pretty fun as the nose stays up.

Comments about Nitro Sub Pop Rocker Snowboard 2010:

It's a fun board to advance your freestyle skills. Ground tricks are so much easier to do. The reverse camber and less pressure at the contact points make it more forgiving to do and learn new ground tricks. Jibbing is really fun. It feels alittle loose when bombing but suprisingly held up fairly well. The flex feels soft like a noodle but does not ride like one. Overall it's a great board to fool around with all over the mountain.

Comments about Nitro Sub Pop Rocker Snowboard 2010:

            Pretty sweet board.
its not a board to use in early/late season though, because it can ding easily on rocks and other stuff that might be out there.
pops like no other. ( check its name.. )
i love this board, only other board i would ever get would be a bataleon, but those are expensive. so ill stick to my nitro for now.
reeeally goood board for its price too..

Comments about Nitro Sub Pop Rocker Snowboard 2010:

This board is great, I was worried coming from a Ride society it would be too noodly... Not at all I found it rips at high speed and the pop was still enough to do flatground 3's. I could confidently hit 30 ft jumps as long as i landed flat based, the tips would fold on me if I landed on them. It was super easy to do presses and butter around the mountain but wasn't quite as catch-free as I expected due to the fact that its got that bit of camber that brings the tips back down to snow level. That said I could definitely feel the dished base and it was so loose and easy to spin around on. Unless you are riding powder, are a euro-carver or doing spins on large jumps I would totally recommend this deck!

Soft and buttery, but not a noodle. Still poppy. Best suited for a park/freestyle as its only made in shorter lengths. All mountain freestyle black belt.
