      I have one from 06/07. Almost the same construction. Bought of some kid for [$] this year. Only three days and he said it was too much for him....It loves to power up the engine and run straight down the hill, best use so far. However, it won't sell you out to the woods either. It's just right. If you're looking for a board to raise your ability, don't buy this board. You either have it or you don't. It's your compadre not your teacher. Bad omens to anyone who sits in a park with this beast on a pow day. Trees, steeps, pow, groomers, seconds. Hungry?

          I am no expert myself but have been snowboarding for about 6 years, I have owned 3 previous boards (K2,Avalanche,Nitro) none of these came close in comparison to the Nitro Pantera LX.
          It is a super light weight board, very fast and carves really well with amazing grip - you can really lean into those tight carves. Performs reasonably well in icy conditions with some loss in traction. Overall the board feels very sturdy, well balanced and stable as your straight lining down the hill.
          The board lacks in pop, but its light weight design helps park newbs like myself out in getting your rotations done with a little less effort.
          I would definitely say that this board is perfect for cruising, all mountain riders while still performing reasonably in the park.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

            Fantastic ride, this board is all about speed, both on the piste and in the powder. Extremely agile, base is way faster than any other board i or my buddies have tried. Pretty hard, but not as hard as the Custom X. Floats very well in powder. I LOVE this board!!!
            But ignore the sizing advice on the nitro homepage. They suggest a 167, but 162 suits me (80kg) perferctly.
