Nitro Eero Ettala Pro Model Snowboard 2013

Nitro Shop all Nitro
Eero Ettala loves consistency, and that is exactly what this board gives you. The Nitro Eero Ettala Pro Model Snowboard is one hell of a board. This re-designed, all mountain board shows off Nitro's newly developed features such as the Railkiller Edge, Sintered Speed Formula II Base, and the Diamond Band. The Eero Ettala Pro Model Snowboard will blow you away with its speed, durability, and performance on any terrain.
Rocker Type
Standard Camber - A low camber provides the stability at higher speeds many shredders can't live without. The amount of snap and pop you get from a cambered board is unrivaled by any other camber designs.
All Terrain - Nitro's most versatile flex pattern combines Nitro's signature pop with smooth response and allows you to tear up the whole mountain.
Profile Tip - Tapered to disperse energy and reduce swing weight
True twin tip
Tri-Progressive Side Cut - Three blended sidecuts for bi-directional acceleration
Powerlitecore - The highest grade and ultra-lightweight poplar wood in Nitro's Powerlite core makes for the perfect ride with lots of pop and unmatched strength at a minimum weight.
Tri-Lite Laminates - The perfect blend of flex and torsion control: Nitro-tuned Tri-Lite Laminates with fibers running in 3 directions make these boards quick turning.
Ballistic Impact Panel - Kevlar© is used in bulletproof vests and body armor to protect your core. Nitro uses it in strategic places around the binding-to-board interface to protect the construction from impacts during hard landings. It is many times stronger and lighter than common titanal reinforcements.
New Diamond Band Laminate - Well-balanced layers of Carbon Fiber on the bottom combined with fiberglass on the top of the board establish a new level in performance and gives more snap and liveliness for a smooth, powerful and effortless ride.
Sintered Speed Formula II Base - A nanotech wax formula deeply infused into Nitro's sintered base material makes the base surface lightening fast in all snow conditions. Highly tuned yet damn durable, Speed Formula II Base technology is exclusively featured on Nitro's high-end boards.
Railkiller Edge - This is your secret weapon on rails. With its unique edge profile and impact resistance of more that 200% compared to a standard edge, this proprietary construction can take on any rail challenge. Take a file or ride them hard and wear them down, this chunk of steel has enough meat for years of railing.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Camber
Camber is the traditional profile for snowboards, and still popular among high-level park and pipe riders because it offers maximum energy and pop. A cambered board has a smooth arch underfoot and touches near the tip and tail when unweighted; when the rider’s weight is added, it provides a long, evenly pressured running surface and edge.
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
