Amazing board besides the fact that it fell apart within three days of hard mogul riding at an advanced level and speed.

Comments about Nitro Blacklight Snowboard 2009:

Here's the deal...the Nitro Blacklight i purchased turned out to be a lemon. I had an amazing first day on the board and then to my shock on the 2nd day while riding packed powder and groomed runs, the sidewall cracked in two places between my feet and the base started to de-laminate. I rode my previous Nitro board for 5 yrs with over 120+ days of hard riding on it so you can understand my shock when I discovered that it broke on the 2nd day of riding. The good news with this review is that Nitro was very cooperative with my warranty claim and they gave me full credit for the price that I paid for the board (instead of replacing it with a new board as apparantly there aren't any Blacklight's like the one I purchased left..??). So in all fairness given my previous Nitro board and their customer service, I can DEFINITELY recommend NITRO products as this may be a one-off experience plus the company knows how to 'make it right', I just can't recommend the Blacklight.

Comments about Nitro Blacklight Snowboard 2009:

This is one of the best boards I have ever owned it rides great it is extremly light and perfectly balance makeing Spining and tricks much easier. It handels powder and ice really well and it is soo light it makes it so easy to move. It is not a park board with that said for it's style it is very flexable and has a good amount of pop yet at the same time it dosent wiggle around on you when you are carveing at high speeds like some flexible boards. However this board dose have one main issue and that is the material used on the bottom of the board, the patch work design is actually cut indiviual pieces and they tend to fall out if the board is getting heavy use on an icey mountain with ice chunks on some trails or hiting a rail wrong can pop an entire chunk out. Woods trails can do some damage if your not careful. If However you don't ride your board that hard or in woods then the board is amazing.
