Product Info

The TRS (Total Ripper Series) is an all terrain freestyle killing machine. Lib's new XC2 takes the beloved C2 geometry to new dimensions with a directional twin shape that has "X"tra camber underfoot and a shorter banana (BTX) between the legs. This gives you increased end-to-end stability, huge pop and maximum tip to tail contact in the tough stuff with enough float to keep you effortlessly cruising through the powder. Sammy Luebke took it to the podium as overall champ of the North Face Masters tour, E Jack ripped it from North to South America, and Blair took it where no one else wants to go in AK. This go anywhere, do anything Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard is also available in narrow widths for smaller riders who want to charge!

Comments about Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard 2014:

Here's the deal. I have been riding for over 18 years and have ridden tons of different boards in all kinds of terrain. I ride boards really aggressive whether it be in the backcountry or park. The way I would sum up this board is that every other board I had ridden before this one was a sedan. This is the pick-up truck of snowboards. When it comes to freeriding it will allow you to do things you might doubt trying before. It's like the board is there to help you out and make things possible. I rode this board on a demo day and never traded it in for another board the whole day. Magnetraction is a beast, C2 allows great float, and it turns crazy hard. Sounds crazy but I bought four other boards at the end of last season on massive discount and then rode this board on demo day. I bought last year's TRS right after I demoed this board and never touched the others.

Comments about Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard 2014:

The TRS is a great board that describes itself just by its abbreviation: Total Ripper Series. This board is great for riding all over, through the trees, off jumps, or in cruddy soapy snow. Not my favorite board from Lib Tech but a great board for those that want to ride it all. Sometimes it felt like it wanted to pull you too hard into turns, so if you are a lighter weight rider that has trouble really powdering into turns then this board would be great.

        Mervin Manufacturing Review

Comments about Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard 2014:

For the Mervin Manufacturing demo day, I rode the Lib Tech TRS (Total Ripper Series) board. The size was a 148, a little small for me but I spent the majority of the time in the park when riding this board. I'm 5'7" about 135 pounds, and would consider myself and intermediate/advance snowboarder. Though the size felt a little small I had a great time trying out this board. It's a great all-mountain board and rode well whether I was on groomed runs or in the park. Did not have any problems with it really, easy turn initiation and didn't catch any edges. It could of rode better in powder though, I found myself slowing down or getting stuck but that could have been the snows fault. Overall, I would recommend this product to others its a great board wherever you're on the mountain. I normally ride the 2008 version of this board so the 2014 model felt really familiar and more playful.

Comments about Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard 2014:

This is my second Lib Tech Board. My first Lib Tech board was a T. Rice Pro several years ago and it was amazing! So when it came time to buy another board, I only looked at Lib Tech. The TRS is an amazing board. It is fast, agile and can cut through ice just as well as it can float on powder. I definitely recommend this board for any riding except park riding. That being said, you truly cannot go wrong with Lib Tech.

Comments about Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard 2014:

This is my fourth TRS in the past 8 years, and you'd be hard pressed to sell me anything different. Words I would use to describe this: all mountain freestyle, quiver killer, pow slayer, buttery fun but stable at high speeds, booter crunk, poppy, chic magnet.

Only cons I could think of is the magnetraction slows you down in deep carves, and the base isn't the fastest... but when you're charging sick, steep, pow lines who cares!?

I'm a 6'5 snowboarder who's been riding for a few years. This board was amazing! I had so much fun riding it and plan to buy it next year when it comes out. It was really playful and steady underneath my feet. When going off jumps in the park it was catching some amazing pop and just sent it every time. Great board and I couldn't recommend it enough to people to buy.
