Product Info

The TRS (Total Ripper Series) is an all-terrain, freestyle killing machine. Lib's new XC2 takes the beloved C2 geometry to new dimensions with a directional twin shape that has "X"tra camber underfoot and a shorter banana (BTX) between the legs. This gives you increased end-to-end stability, huge pop, and maximum tip to tail contact in the tough stuff with enough float to keep you effortlessly cruising through the powder. Sammy Luebke took it to the podium as overall champ of The North Face Masters tour, E-Jack ripped it from North to South America, and Blair took it where no one else wants to go in AK. This go-anywhere, do-anything Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard is also available in narrow widths for smaller riders who want to charge! *Note: This is a factory blem board and may have slight cosmetic damage.*

Comments about Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard - Blem 2014:

I almost didn't buy it because the site had it categorized in the men's boards, regular width and I was looking for a woman's board. I did my own research, eventually called Evo and they confirmed that the 151 was a narrow.

I bought this board for my daughter. She loves riding fast and is usually in the 55+MPH range. Her old board was making me nervous. She has ridden the board at least 10 times since it arrived earlier this month (many times in icy conditions because of Cali's terrible snow season)... She feels 100% in control and confident especially at high speeds. It did very well in the park too. She absolutely loves her TRS!

Comments about Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard - Blem 2014:

Absolutely love this board. Was riding the T.Rice last year and switched over to the TRS this season. Couldn't be happier. This board just makes riding fun in basically every condition. I'm riding a 157 now and I'm looking at getting a 162 to have on hand for the deeper days. The XC2 BTX is extremely stable. It flies down the mountain. Has great turn initiation. Great Pop. You won't regret purchasing one of these.

Comments about Lib Tech TRS XC2BTX Snowboard - Blem 2014:

I focus mostly on groomed terrain on the East Coast mountains. Conditions here are mostly icy, slushy, or groomed, but rarely powdery.

Compared to my old Ride board from years ago, this one is definitely more lightweight, and more pop. I would not recommend this to a beginner. I haven't caught an edge for years, but it's easy to catch an edge on this board my first time using it cuz I wasn't paying attention. This board turns really easily with my front and back foot. I get faster maneuverability but I need to be a little more focused; similar to having tighter steering on a car.

But overall I like it, it allows me to kick some bad habits, and become better. I just gotta get used to this type of board.
