It's time to take the mountain by storm with the 2015 Lib Tech Darker Series C3BTX Snowboard. With a directional twin shape and a stiffer flex, this board is all about power and control in the harshest of riding conditions. While Lib's C3 BTX is submissive on banana, it packs a punch with camber for stability and pop, and the 3D Bamboo Org Throttle features a crossband wood platform for optimum edge control. Take a step toward the dark side with the 2015 Lib Tech Darker Series Snowboard. *This is a factory blem board that may have slight cosmetic damage.*
C3 BTX Also known as the submissive banana, C3 BTX is camber made better with the addition of Banana Tech rocker between your feet. Mild pressure between your feet for carving, edge grip, and float in powder is combined with Lib Tech's maximum tip and tail pressure for precise control, power stability and pop.
Flex 7.5 (depending on size) A stiff aggressive flex designed to provide stability on big take offs and excellent response for cruising through powder
Directional Twin Geometries This effortless freestyle and freeride geometry starts with a Twin chassis (from contact to contact) but with an ever so slightly longer nose than tail that allows the board to float on powder and blast through crud. It's a Twin with an advantage.
3D Bamboo Org Throttle The functional 3-D riser system that features crossband wood platforms with edge to edge grain orientation that transfers energy directly from your feet to the power transfer internal sidewalls and out along your edges. Control, power and pop.
Colombian Gold / Power A Core Fast growing farmed wood from south of the border // Light, strong and lively fibers.
Basalt / Fiberglass Combo Strong light Volcanic organic additive free fiber reinforcements are where it's at. Flex modulus is synchronized with Mervin's resin system for maximum strength and minimum weight. Damp, strong and lively means a smooth poppy ride.
Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls The PTIS are lightweight internal sidewalls made from Birchwood to add durability where you need it the most.
UHMW External Sidewalls Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Sintered Base Fast, tough, maximum wax retention.
Die-cut Base Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Magne-Traction® Strategically located serrations on your edges that create confidence-building, fatigue-reducing, edge hold all over the mountain especially on hard pack and ice.
Bio Beans Topsheet Bio polymer top material made from castor bean oil. This stuff is rugged, damp and prints beautifully in an environmentally friendly manner.

Comments about Lib Tech Darker Series C3BTX Snowboard - Blem 2015:
As a heliski guide in AK and a seasoned rider of our beloved Mt. Baker, I need a board that is more than a one-trick pony; and such is Lib Tech's Darker Series C3BTX. After purchasing this beauty from EVO (thanks guys), I mounted my Union Atlas bindings and planned for a smashing day in the mountains. I ride aggressively, and took it down the Wicket (Chair 6, Baker) through tight trees and aproned drops at speed. Being this is the first board I've owned with Torsional Boxes under my feet, the Darker gave me razor sharp response to the demands of technical runs, when quick action is needed at a moments notice. The stiffness of this board helps dial in whatever landing I wanted to stomp. Getting onto a groomer, I stepped on the pedal and found this board is a quiver killer in changing conditions (thanks to the help of Magne-Traction). The somewhat traditional, Camber-Dominant Banana shaping gave me incredible pop, control and an intuitive ability to harness the power this board provides. The wizards at Mervin incorporated a Basalt/Fiberglass combo into construction, allowing me to use this smooth, lightweight board in a naturally free way. Unlike other heavier/cumbersome boards, I didn't have to be constantly aware of the weight or feel bogged down when riding. And when I wasn't using this Directional Twin board as point-and-shoot, I could easily go switch without feeling like I was riding a reversed flounder. Though the top sheet isn't as impact resistant as other boards, the Darker Series is a must for riders looking to bring their skills in the hills to a whole new level.
