Lib Tech Burtner's Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard 2012

Jib enthusiasts unite with the Lib Tech Burtner’s Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard. A short, mellow banana with wide stance options, the Burtner’s Box Scratcher rips from platinum to plastic to pow. Snow, logs, rails, air… jib anything and everything with the Lib Tech Burtner’s Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard.
Rocker Type
Banana Rocker Technology (BTX) - Applies more pressure inward to the edge area at and between your feet. While your stance presses out the rocker, the tip and tail still make enough contact for enough stability without sacrificing float.

Flex
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 5, slightly stiffened at the tip and tail to increase pop and stability on big landings
Shape
True Twin
Core
Morning Wood - Wood as stiff as a brand new day. Sweet innercores from our Woodshop. More pop!
Correct Sandwich construction for super light spin weight
Sidewalls
Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls - Tip-to-tail internal "sidewalls" with end-grain orientation transfer energy directly to your edges.
Base
TNT - Fast and low maintenance dual layered fluoro base material: Wax it or maybe skip a day.
Edges
Magne-Traction™ - Serrated edges slice through the snow with 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut giving you insane edge hold and precision control. The biggest bumps are at and between your feet where your balance is centered adding maximum control and power where you need it most. The bumps outside your feet are smaller and less aggressive providing tip and tail control but maintaining freestyle freedom.

Comments about Lib Tech Burtner's Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard 2012:

ok so normally youd expect a park board to vibrate on high speeds for example before a jump or bombing down a groomed trail, but not this board sunny! this board is a killer board on groomed because of the 6/10 flex, why is it such high flex well because its a rockered and if the flex was like a 5 or 4 1/2 it vibrate for sure due to the rocker! I ride strictly park and some jumps because i dedicate most of my time skateboarding depending on the season.. so with that said i tried this board out one day for some great POW POW/groomed trails, it was absolutely incredidle in the POW due to the extra wideness which helped me float in powder like a boat on water! i ride a 151 and im 140LB 5foot4, im a pretty small guy comparred to this extra wide board, anyways the wideness i love because i skate a really wide skateboard "8.25" so obviously i want that extra wideness because more surface to lock into a thin or thick rail. i also got a 151 which is up to my chin but the wideness makes up for it greatly! any ways best board iv had, a bit pricey but but worth it!
