Lib Tech Brando By Lando C2BTX Snowboard 2014

The mashup between party and business will never die out. The Lib Tech Brando By Lando C2BTX Snowboard is a directional tapered angle board for deep Cat days or shredding resort pow. Featuring an old school shape the crew at Lib Tech likes to call the Mullet, the Brando by Lando is wider in the front and narrower in the back with an elongated tip for effortless float when conditions get hairy. When the fluff freezes over, the Magne-Traction edges keep you grounded by providing excellent edgehold. When partying is your business, the Brando by Lando is your ride.
Rocker Type
C2 BTX: Power Banana / Camber Blend - Lando's favorite camber rocker blend for aggressive power snowboarders. Solid tip and tail pressure for power, pop, precision and end-to-end stability combined with a medium amount of pressure between your feet delivers float, carving and edge hold.

Flex
Flex 6-6.5 (depending on size) - A stiff aggressive flex designed to provide stability on big take offs and excellent response for cruising through powder
Shape
Directional Tapered AKA The Mullet - Wider, elongated tip and a narrower tail provides added float when shredding pow.
Core
Columbian Gold - Fast growing farmed wood from south of the border with ultra light, strong and long lively fibers
Laminates
Basalt / Fiberglass Combo - Strong light Volcanic organic additive free fiber reinforcements are where it's at. Flex modulus is synchronized with Mervin's resin system for maximum strength and minimum weight. Damp, strong and lively means a smooth poppy ride.
Sidewalls
Power Transfer Internal Sidewalls - Rugged lightweight vertical and end grain Birch internal sidewalls add toughness where you need it when things get hard.
UHMW External Sidewalls - Fast. Rugged. Hard. Waterproof. No toxic ABS, do it for the kids.
Base
Sintered - Fast, tough, maximum wax retention
Edges
Magne-Traction - Steak knife technology turns ice into powder! Seven points of focused edge control. Magne-Traction's strategic serrations provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions.

Topsheet
Bio Beans Topsheet - Bio polymer top material made from castor bean oil. This stuff is rugged, damp and prints beautifully in an environmentally friendly manner.

  • Terrain: Freeride, Freestyle
    Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Camber/Rocker/Camber
    Camber/Rocker/Camber
Camber/Rocker/Camber is a profile that’s specific to snowboards and which works because the rider’s weight flattens the two cambered areas. This design produces a strong, pressured carving zone between the rider’s feet and retains pop and carving precision at the tip and tail.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Stiff
    Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
