Product Info

If you’ve been dreaming of taking your freestyle style out of the park and onto the mountain, the Lib Tech Attack Banana EC2BTX Wide Snowboard is your tool. Lib Tech moves the camber in the tip and tail slightly closer to the center of this board to focus pop, give you a bit more shock absorption for landing big hits, and ease of turn initiation. They’ve added a smoother tip and tail curve for better float in powder, too. Note: This is a factory blem board and may have slight cosmetic damage.

Product Details

Rocker Type

EC2 Elliptical Camber / Banana Blend (EC2 BTX)Elliptical Camber combined with Banana Rocker moves the camber closer to your bindings, slightly reducing the amount of pressure at tip and tail. This gives a slightly smoother and more forgiving ride than C2.

Flex

Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)6.5-7 depending on size

Shape

True TwinA true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch or play in the park. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.

Core

Columbian Gold CoreExperimental new dead tree with the highest compression response ever used in a snowboard

Laminates

Basalt / Fiberglass ComboBasalt is produced in a clean, pure process consisting of high heat and absent of toxic additives. Not only is it safer for humans, it’s easier to recycle. Basalt fiber has strength properties much higher than fiberglass and better damping properties for a smooth ride.

Sidewalls

Soy-Based Elastomer Sidewalls

Power Transfer Internal SidewallsThe same futuristic power 90º pop technology from Lib Tech's world record setting skateboards and power transfer spines, only this time Lib Tech has placed it along the sidewall of your board to add board control to our sandwich construction: stronger, more pop, and more control.

Double Sintered UHMW SidewallsTwice as sintered as any other sidewall: tough, handsome, and light

Base

TNTFast and low maintenance dual layered fluoro base material: Wax it or maybe skip a day.

Edges

Magne-Traction™Serrated edges slice through the snow with 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut giving you insane edge hold and precision control. The biggest bumps are at and between your feet where your balance is centered adding maximum control and power where you need it most. The bumps outside your feet are smaller and less aggressive providing tip and tail control but maintaining freestyle freedom.

Comments about Lib Tech Attack Banana EC2BTX Wide Snowboard - Blem 2013:

I've demoed pretty much all of Lib's line and even for a short 5' 4" tall guy like me, the 153 version of this deck is my go-to board. I thought the Banana Magic was awesome but that was before this board came along. T.Rice board is too stiff for me.

Attack Banana, stable in turns, on landings, through pow, crud and chop. For me, quite damp.

I also got to demo the '13/'14 Attack Banana at Baker this season and just as good.

Comments about Lib Tech Attack Banana EC2BTX Wide Snowboard - Blem 2013:

Wanted to tried a non traditional camber board and very glad I did. I was riding a nitro magnum and wanted an upgrade to some new camber technology with a little more playfulness. This board was very responsive and also very forgiving. I will never ride a traditional camber board again. I am only going to own one board at a time and this board does everything I need. Board is about 1cm less in length than my nitro and was a lot lighter. Great carving and pop. I was worried about the c2 camber being to squirly but that was not the case at all. It was more forgiving and not loose. I thought was a little pricey but I bought a blemish and could not even find an area that looked suspect. 4 out of 5 because of price.

        Service and delivery comments:

Great service. I had first ordered an attack banana but when It arrived I realized it was way to soft for me as I am 230 lbs. called up and they sent a shipping label and gave me a refund. I then ordered the attack banana and it was exactly what I wanted. I will be ordering more product again without a doubt.

Comments about Lib Tech Attack Banana EC2BTX Wide Snowboard - Blem 2013:

Camber takes a little while to get used to. Seems like it wants to stay on edge and is very sensitive just behind the back foot. But the more I ride it the more I love it. From pow through spinning off jumps in the park this board straight kills it.

Comments about Lib Tech Attack Banana EC2BTX Wide Snowboard - Blem 2013:

Bought this blemished board with high hopes that it would be in good condition and it was near perfect condition with one pit in it. This board hooks up in the all conditions- hard pack, slush, powder, and fresh groom. I have no complaints about losing an edge at any time with the Magne-Traction. This board has good pop in the park and did well on boxes. Coming from a Burton Bullet this board is a HUGE upgrade. I would buy this board time and time again.
