Product Info

Product Details

Flex

The K2 WWW Rocker Snowboard is a freestyle specific snowboard built for intermediate to expert riders looking for a softer flexing board they can rip with in the park all day long with the durability to stand up to the biggest tricks you want to throw at it.

Shape

Jib Rocker® (20% Rocker / 80% Flat) is a versatile twin rocker that will destroy any freestyle line. There’s just enough rise from the tip and tails contact points for a loose, buttery feel without losing response and pop.

Twin Hyper Progressive sidecut technology blends differing turn radii to form a sidecut that’s mellow in the tips and more aggressive in the center. This results in a super predictable feel that’s never hooky, is stable at high speeds and is smooth enough to butter.

JibTip™ allows you to drop down 5cm in board size without losing the stability of a longer board.

Construction

W1 Core features a single species of pure wood with proven flex, durability and snap.

Hybritech™ construction: the sidewall runs along the surface from nose and tail providing low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation and durability.

Biax glass provides smooth, all-purpose performance

Additional Features

P-Tex Top

2000 Extruded base is fast, durable, and easy to repair

3 degree base bevel

Comments about K2 WWW (World Wide Weapon) Rocker Snowboard 2013:

I have the 2012 K2 Weapon which is basically the same board with a different graphic. But it is seriously the best board I've ridden. The effective edge is 5 cm bigger than what most park boards are in this size range. I ride a 151cm and I can take it straight down any hill and it feels pretty stable. I've only wiped out when I hit ice because I detune my edges. It flexes really well, I'm sure it would flex better with a heavier dude, since I am just under 150 lbs.

I've only been boarding for a couple years, this was my first park board and it was so nice to learn tricks on. I mashed pretty hard on my feel edge hitting rails, but it still holds pretty good. I did ollie late onto a box and bent the edge of the nose in and it warped the base on the very tip. But I repaired the top sheet with black P-Tex and no one has even noticed.

I don't ever want to upgrade from this board, but next year I hear a sweet new weapon is being released, so I'll probably upgrade then.

Here is a link to a short flex test in my backyard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hfgr-xU6G5A
