K2 Va Va Voom Rocker Snowboard - Women's 2012

Revved up and ready to ride, the K2 Va Va Voom Rocker Snowboard is the freestyle dream child created by Leanne Pelosi and the rest of the K2 Women’s Alliance. The whole mountain is at your fingertips with K2’s Rhythm Core and Jib Rocker® Baseline coming together for a soft playful flex.
Flex
The K2 Va Va Voom Rocker Snowboard features a soft and playful flex produced with freestyle riding in mind.
Construction and Core
The JibTip™ design integrates a longer effective edge with a shorter nose and tail, allowing you to drop down 5cm in a board size without losing the stability of a longer board. Perfecting jibs, butters, flips, and spins has never been easier.
The Wood Core provides plenty of pop and snap all over the mountain.
Shape
True twin freestyle shape makes it easy to ride in any direction you want.
Jib Rocker® Baseline is a versatile twin rocker built to dominate the park. It has just enough rise in the tip and tail to create a loose, buttery feel on all types of terrain. Contact points stay well off the snow until engaged, eliminating edge hook while maintaining fun pop.
Base
The 2000 Extruded base is durable, fast, easy to repair, and easy to tune. The 3 degree factory base bevel keeps your edges sharp for hold on jumps and in the half-pipe, while letting you slide rails with no catch.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
  • Flex Rating: Soft
    Soft
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
