K2 Turbo Dream Wide Snowboard 2013

Designed to go beyond your wildest snowboarding dreams, the K2 Turbo Dream Wide Snowboard is ready to float and land the deepest pow and still hold tight on hard snow in-bounds. The K2 Turbo Dream Wide Snowboard features K2’s top tier technologies like the Harshmellow™ dampening system and Carbon Web™ for pop.
Flex
The K2 Turbo Dream Wide Snowboard is an all mountain snowboard for big-footed riders who thrive in deep powder, yet enjoy laps through the park. Progressive and progressing riders alike will love the Turbo Dream.
Shape
All Terrain Rocker® (30% Rocker / 70% Flat) makes effortless turns on hardpack but also provides ample float in softer snow and crud.
Tweekend™ tweaks the tip and tail of K2 boards by extending the rocker curvature all the way out to the ends, giving you more surface area to press, float and land on.
Twin Hyper Progressive sidecut technology blends differing turn radii to form a sidecut that’s mellow in the tips and more aggressive in the center. This results in a super predictable feel that’s never hooky, is stable at high speeds and is smooth enough to butter.
Construction
The WH3 core uses three species of renewable wood with two strips of Honeykomb™ material between the bindings and the rails for optimal strength, reduced weight and enhanced dampening.
Hybritaper™ tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight.
Triax/ICG 20 glass laminate with diagonal layers stiffen the board torsionally for improved edge hold and increased stability for off-axis landings.
Carbon Web™ I is designed specifically to enhance Baseline technology and brings the pop of carbon closer to your bindings for more energy in all your riding.
Additional Features
Harshmellow™, a dampening compound placed around the binding inserts, decreases negative vibes, leg burn and rough landings. .
4000 Sintered is the fastest natural base material available. It’s exceptionally durable and absorbs deeper and retains wax longer.
1 degree Base Bevel

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
