Product Details

Rocker Type

All Terrain Rocker ™Allows for effortless turns on hardpack but also provides ample float in softer snow and crud. A setback stance and medium rise through the tip and a lower rise in the tail defines this multi-purpose freerider.

NEW Tweekend™Tweaks the tip and tail of K2 boards by extending the rocker curvature all the way out to the ends, giving you more surface area to press, float and land on.

Sidecut

Twin geometry for equal ease riding forward or switch

Hyper Progressive SidecutA number of different radius' are blended together flawlessly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center. The result is a super predictable feel that never hooks. Responsive at high speeds and smooth enough to butter your way from peak to peak.

Shape

All Mountain

Hybritaper™Takes the Hybritech™ Construction, and tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight. They blend the tips from a cap into a think sandwich, removing material where you don't need it.

Construction

Hybritech™ ConstructionThe most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. Featuring sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail providing low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation, and durability.

Triax/ICG 20Top triaxial glass laminate with diagonal layers that stiffens the board torsionally. Giving improved edge hold and increased stability for those off-axis landings. Bottom ICG 20 glass integrates carbon into the fiberglass, reducing overall weight and creating a super smooth release of power while increasing pop and liveliness.

Core

WH3Using three species of renewable wood that are assembled to optimize strength, reduce weight, and enhance damping. Two strips of K2's Honeykomb material are added on the bottom of the core between the bindings and the rails.

Base

4000 SinteredFastest natural base material available, exceptionally durable, and absorbs deeper and retains wax longer.

Additional Features

Harshmellow™A dampening compound placed around the binding inserts, decreases negative vibes, leg burn and rough landings.

1° Base Bevel

Carbon Web™ IDesigned specifically to enhance K2's Baseline technology and brings the pop and snap of carbon closer to your bindings for max ollies and control in every situation.

Comments about K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard 2013:

Rode this one mostly around the groomers, little bit through the trees and it was pretty responsive. I currently ride a K2 Believer w/ flatline, but it is alot softer than the Fastplant. This one seemed to have a fair amount of pop and was stable going quick. The could tell they beefed up the innerguts to make it have a bit more life in it. I felt it was a little too stiff for me, so I wouldn't choose this board for jibbing or pressing in the park, but taking it around on bigger features and the rest of the mountain should be a good time. But, then again, I like a more buttery boards so, I probably biased on that stiffness verdict.

Comments about K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard 2013:

Great board for anything and everything! I am an instructor and I love teaching kids how to carve with this board. Great turning and edges! Not much that I dislike about it. Harshmellow is awesome too!! I have it in my boots and bindings as well. Can really tell the dampening affects that it has! Love it!! Great board for intermediate rides to experts.

Comments about K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard 2013:

Excellent board for all-mountain use. The board is lighter than my previous board from about 7 years ago. This K2 Turbo Dream is a breeze to carve with. You can't really go wrong with a board like this at the current price point. Graphics are nice as well, without being too over-the-top.

Comments about K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard 2013:

Excellent board for all-around use on the mountain. I'm coming from an older 2006 model board which is heavier and longer, so this K2 Turbo Dream has made snowboarding fun again for me. The K2 Turbo Dream is lightweight and a breeze to carve with. The graphics are vivid without being "over-the-top". All-in-all, a solid board that doesn't really have any notable flaws.
