The 2008 K2 Titan Snowboard redefines the wide category by offering high-end, all-terrain performance. This board delivers a strong and smooth ride in all conditions. What else would you expect from the Zeppelin's big-footed bro? A directional twin shape, combined with Ti - A Power Forks and Hyper Progressive Sidecut, the Titan is loaded with energy, response and snap. The 2008 K2 Titan Snowboard offers light weight power and agility in a wide package.

  • S-Class Technology:Taking full advantage of every moment you experience on snow, whether it's your first few turns or that last high-speed mission, S-Class technology is engineered to keep your legs at full potential for strong riding all day long. K2’s patent pending feature incorporates a vibration-absorbing layer, giving your muscles a well-deserved break from any and all board chatter. One more run anyone?
  • Multi Polar Core:The lightweight strength and liveliness of the Multi Core but with added damping pads isolated under each foot. The pads isolate the inserts into the top of the core, which cuts vibrations leading to the foot, and gives you a flatter, faster base by reducing "base suck-up."
  • Hyper Progressive Sidecut:K2’s most aggressive, yet versatile sidecut. A very gentle radius in the tip and tail are blended to a tight radius in the center of the board. Whether you want to relax and bomb with confidence or carve circles around your buddy, this sidecut puts you in control of your turns.
  • Patented Hybritech Construction:Hybritech is the most effective way to make a snowboard. It takes a cap tip and tail and blends it into a sidewall along the running surface. K2 takes the time to create complex molds and parts that bring these two features together. It gives you low swing weight and optimized turn initiation at the ends combined with durability and damping on the running surface. This design produces high-performance boards that excel across any variety of mountain terrain, snow conditions and riding styles.
  • Ti-A Power Forks:Dual bands of titanium-aluminum alloy bracketing the contact points are combined with carbon off-axis layers. The result is an extended area of maximum edge control along with tremendous energy and response.

Comments about K2 Titan Snowboard 2008:

I bought this board mid-season and having been riding it for just over a month. The base is insane, uber quick acceleration. Edges allow you to hold a line and cut through groom, pow, or crud. Nice stiff board that doesn't chatter through the ruff, sucks up big drops but still has enough pop for playing in the park.
The only fall back are the tips, I wish k2 gave them a little more elevation to help float through the pow.
That draw back makes this board more of a groomer and makes riding the back wood pow a little too difficult.
