Product Info

The K2 Slayblade Wide Snowboard is the attack deck of choice for team rider Eero Niemela. The 2012 model is built for even more critical forces and long term use with Bambooyah™ Blend core and the boosting power of Ollie Bar™.

Product Details

Construction and Core

Bambooyah™ Blend WH4 Core pulls every trick from K2’s bag of core tech. It’s engineered to maintain durability at minimal weight.

Carbon Web™ stringers bring the pop and snap of carbon closer to your bindings for maximum ollies and control in every situation.

Ollie Bar™ inserts for the pop and snap of camber in a Flatline® board.

Harshmellow™ vibration force field for dampening that maximizes fun by decreasing negative vibes, leg burn, and rough landings.

Shape

Twin Hyper Progressive shape offers an infinite number of different radii that are blended together flawlessly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center. The result is a predictable feel that never hooks.

Base

The Sintered Base is ultra thin, static eliminating, lightweight, lowers material usage, and is the highest quality sintered base available.

Demanded by the K2 International Pro Team, K2 pioneered the Flatline® base profile. Preloaded, stable, and turn-ready, Flatline® is exactly as sounds - a flat base, and creating a supremely balanced, smooth ride for both aspiring and accomplished pros.

Comments about K2 Slayblade Wide Snowboard 2012:

Got this new board after i grew tired of toe drag on my normal width deck. Nice and stiff for hard carving and speed maxing. I have about 20 days on this rig so far and love it.

Comments about K2 Slayblade Wide Snowboard 2012:

I've been renting gear for years now since I usually fly out to the rockies for my boarding. Finally decided I had had enough with the dinged up rentals, and picked up the slayblade after a few weeks of trying to decide which board to get. I'm an all-mountain rider and this board does just that. Super light and love the flat camber - so stable. If you want a good, fast board for flying all over the mountain, this is the one.
