Two years in the making, the Slayblade follows in the footsteps of the Zeppelin, and continues to define the ultimate standard in all-terrain versatility. K2 brought together their entire bag of tricks, including Harshmellow dampening and Flatline Technology for playfulness and created a sweet looking, incredibly versatile, high performance board.

  • Flex and Rider Style:Flatline Technology gives smooth, equal pressure everywhere, creating the perfect balance of stability and versatility. The best all-terrain that K2 has to offer; anywhere on the mountain, the Slayblade will take you there. Harshmellow dampening for the plushest ride ever.
  • Construction and Core:WH4 Core uses Honeykomb Technology for a lighter, stronger, damper feel than a wood-only core. A Setback Twin Hyper Progressive shape blends radii to give you better transitions and the best all around board on the market.
  • Sidewalls and Edges:Hybrilight Construction features a thin, continuous sidewall designed for maximum performance and minimum material usage. Better AND greener.

      This board is too legit to quit. Silky smooth in the powder but hauls *explitive deleted* on the trails. The flatline technology is so consistent throughout the mountain you won't want to ride anything else ever again. And it's got more pop than a Pepsi truck! Sit back, relax, and float through the pow or charge, pop, and stomp anywhere else the mountain takes you. Turns are effortless, the board is light as a feather under foot, and you will want to personally thank K2 for creating this masterpiece once you've ridden it! Flatline is the only way to fly. Get on board!

        Comments about K2 Slayblade Snowboard 2010:

        I spend most of my time ripping down moguls and through steep and tight trees. This board has a very similar feel to the Zeppelin, but is more stable at high speed. It has a solid edge for carving, and its nice a maneuverable for tight fast mogul lines.

        I didn't give 5 stars becuase I'm reluctant about the contours on the top of the deck in the area of the binding mounts. Due to the "not flat" design, I'm worried about extra stress on the binding footprint. ie, the whole binding does not rest flat on the board, the toe and heal are raised up due to this contouring, which could prove fatal for my bindings in the future. Hopefully not!
