All Terrain Baseline™Designed for use anywhere on the mountain, All Terrain Baseline allows for effortless turns on hardpack but also provides ample float in softer snow and crud. Designed as a directional Baseline, AT has a medium rise through the tip and a lower rise in the tail. It's the perfect setup for the multi-purpose rider.

Sidecut

All Mountain Hyper ProgressiveAn infinite number of different radii are blended together smoothly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center. Comments about K2 Raygun Snowboard 2014:

This board does so well in mixed terrain that just about anyone could pickup this board and have and amazing amount of fun. The rocker/flat/rocker layout is the perfect balance for people who like to board anywhere. From the groomed hills to the woods behind my house, this board continued to take it and left me wanting very little. As I am 6ft 2in, finding tall and wide boards can be very difficult. This fits perfectly! People who enjoy the parks may find that this board isn't suited as well as other boards to pipes and jumps but this board isn't designed for that.

Comments about K2 Raygun Snowboard 2014:

I don't have experience with a lot of boards, as I primarily rented before buying this beast. What I've used it for so far: Groomed trails & icy New England conditions. I'm not a park rider.

Going from rentals to this, I've noticed a HUGE difference in stability and control. I'm really happy with this snowboard so far, although I've only taken her out twice, both on pretty icy days. But it has held up impressively. Only thing is the bottom is already dinged up a bit, but whatever. Builds character.

This is the perfect mountain and trailblazing board, just keep away from the park. I matched K2 formula bindings to this board; it's balanced, stable, easy to maintain control, and carve. I haven't experienced anything negative about this board.

Comments about K2 Raygun Snowboard 2014:

This is the first board I owned. I rode my 164 wide Raygun all of last season. I took it out about 25 times, mostly for 6-10 hour sessions. My riding progressed amazingly and I love this board for helping me improve.

It's a pretty stiff snowboard but this makes it really stable. It's great for bombing and carving down the face of the mountain. The stiffness does mean that it is difficult to press and Ollie. We were lucky enough to have a couple powder days last season and the Raygun was perfect in the powder - easy and surfy feeling.

If you want to carve the face or cruise and surf powder the Raygun is excellent. If you want to freestyle or ride the park this probably isn't the board for you.

Comments about K2 Raygun Snowboard 2014:

I find this board to be great for a beginner like myself. As a beginner, I like to try out different parts of the mountain so this all-mountain board is perfect. One thing I really like about the board is that it is not to difficult to learn on and, supposedly, it is still a good board for intermediate to advanced riders. Basically, the board grows with you and this is something I found to be very appealing when deciding on this board. For anyone who is picky about board graphics, I think the K2 Raygun 2014 graphics are pretty cool but more on the neutral side.

Comments about K2 Raygun Snowboard 2014:

I have spent about 20 hours on this deck and it has been a blast. It will let you point the nose down the hill and book it, but will also allow you to carve, and hold an edge on the icy spots. It came with some blemishes on the top sheet and base, but it wasn't anything that is easily noticeable. Gets dinged up really easily just standing in the line for the lifts.

I'm a 50 year old, 5'11", 200 lb dad who's been riding for 25 years. I have always rented and finally decided to get my own board. I got the 160W, based on EVO's selection guide and could not be happier. Over 3 recent powder days at Snowbasin and Solitude in Utah, the board handled everything I through at it.

Great all mountain board. Bought this to replace an old old old Lamar Scout I road (157 camber)
I am 6' 185 lbs size 12 boot and went with the 160 wide and the K2 Formulas (extra large) I am pretty happy with what K2 had to offer so I went with the all K2 set up. Definitely a great all mountain board for anything you could come by on the mountain. Highly recommend!

It's pretty. And cheap. For the rest I have no idea. Haven't used it yet. I do think the board is sad now because I went on a camping trip to France. On the ground. Without the board. So yeah, now I have a board that's always mad at me. But I think it's going to be happy when I surprise it with a indoor trip. Yes, indoor. I live on Belgium. No mountains here. So yeah. But, don't know if I mentioned this: it's pretty!
