Blasting through snow with the biggest bang for your buck, the K2 Playback Snowboard features an all new twin tip shape with Flatline® Baseline making it a great choice for the progressing freestyle rider. Hybritaper™ Construction in the K2 Playback Snowboard brings you K2’s famous durability and lightweight performance.
Rocker Type
Flatline™ - Preloaded, stable, and turn-ready, Flatline creates a supremely balanced, smooth ride for both aspiring and accomplished riders.

Construction
Hybritech™ Construction - The most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. Featuring sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail providing low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation, and durability.
Biax/Biax - Top and bottom glass composite that provides a smooth, all-purpose performance, keeping things solid underfoot.
Sidecut
Twin geometry for equal ease riding forward or switch
Hyper Progressive Sidecut - A number of different radius' are blended together flawlessly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center. The result is a super predictable feel that never hooks. Responsive at high speeds and smooth enough to butter your way from peak to peak.

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
    Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
