K2 Moment Rocker Snowboard - Women's: The K2 Moment Rocker Snowboard makes a great first impression. Whether beginning a beautiful friendship with the snow or just ready to get more serious, the K2 Moment Rocker Snowboard’s Catch Free Rocker guarantees effortless edge-to-edge transitions and superior control. Even if you’re a little afraid of commitment, the K2 Moment Rocker Snowboard comes at a price that won’t break the bank while its softer flex provides the confidence to push your riding to the next level.
The K2 Moment Rocker Snowboard is built for progressing ladies who need a solid all mountain board with the catch free fun of rocker.
Construction and Core
The W1 core of the K2 Moment Rocker Snowboard is characterized by a single species of pure wood with proven flex, durability, and snap
Hybritaper™ construction tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight. K2 blended the tips from a cap into a thin sandwich removing material where you don’t need it.
Dual progressive shape, ¾” back stance
By bringing the contact points out of the snow, turns happen before the edge bites and –voila! – no catch. This small amount of Catch Free Rocker results in more confidence throughout the learning curve and unlocks faster progression on all terrain.
2000 extruded base is fast, durable, easy to repair and easy to tune.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
