K2 Brigade Snowboard - Demo 2014

The K2 Brigade Snowboard is built for the progressing rider looking to explore the mountain with consistency and style. A small amount of Rocker in its Catch Free Baseline™ technology results in more confidence throughout the learning curve and unlocks faster progression on all terrain. This board is designed to work with the rider and almost disappear, letting the focus stay on good times on the slopes. *This is a new demo product used only for show. It has never been used but may have slight cosmetic wear from transit.*
Rocker Type
Catch Free Baseline™ - By bringing the contact points out of the snow, turns happen before the edge bites and - voila! - no catch. This small amount of Rocker results in more confidence throughout the learning curve and unlocks faster progression on all terrain.
Shape
All-Mountain Dual Progressive - Designed for any level of rider, Ride's Dual Progressive sidecut is a mistake-friendly, fun and forgiving sidecut, which allows for more consistent riding in all situations.
Core
W1 - K2's W1 core is characterized by a single species of pure wood with proven flex, durability, and snap. This is K2's standard core for entry to mid level boards.
Laminates
Biaxial Glass - The classic structural laminate, biax glass provides smooth, all-purpose performance.
Sidewalls
Patented Hybritech™ - Hybritech™ is the most efficient way to make a snowboard without sacrificing one ounce of performance. This construction features sidewall along the running surface that flows into the nose and tail to provide low swing-weight, optimized turn initiation and durability.
Base
2000 Extruded - This base technology is fast, durable, easy to tune and repair.
Binding Compatibility
2x4 Insert pattern

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
    Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
