K2 Believer Snowboard 2010: Voted the overall winner for Men’s premium snowboard in Transworld Snowboarding’s Annual Good Wood test for 2009, the K2 Believer Snowboard continue to drive the legacy in the 2010 season. This board stands among the best, and with a lengthened tip and tail and added Flatline Technology, the Believer will not disappoint in any arena.

  • Flex and Rider Style:The K2 Believer Snowboard is a very versatile board, which is great for anyone looking for a more advanced board that can take them anywhere on the mountain. Twin-tip Hyper Progressive shaping mellows out transitions and makes your ride super smooth.
  • Construction and Core:Flatline Technology places equal pressure everywhere on the board, creating the perfect balance of stability and versatility. WH3 Honeykomb/wood core with Triaxial Top Glass gives a durable, snappy ride.
  • Sidewalls and Edges:Hybritaper Tip Tech tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce swing weight and create an extra responsive sidewall.
  • Base:4000 Sintered Base is crazy-fast, super durable, and wax-retentive so that you can spend more time shredding and less repairing.

Comments about K2 Believer Snowboard 2010:

So, I really just got this board to check out the Flatline tech. I'd ridden camber, ridden rocker, so I wanted to see what it would be like to ride the line down the middle: the flatline (I don't think that was the product line, but I apologize if I stole that from K2). It has been a jolly good time so far - more fun than swimming in a pool full of spaghetti (and that was one lady's dying wish, so that is saying something, right?).

For starters, totally softer than I was expecting. I suck at buttering and pressing with any sort of style, but this board makes me feel like Merlin or Thor, or maybe Thorlin. Not saying I am busting nosepresses down ulta-thirty kinks over pits of death, but I have been able to flex this out pretty easy.

But, on the other hand this board still seemed to have a lot of pop off the kickers I have been riding so far this season. I haven't taken it off anything huge. But my excuse is that the Summit hasn't put up anything big yet, but there is always the chance I just don't have the minerals. Regardless, this spun well; felt light and poppy.

Unfortunately, the lovely rain we've been having has kept me from being able to enjoy this in anything resembling the fluffy stuff. So, I don't have much to say yet about the board in the cushy stuff but still hoping for it.

If anything, this has a sweet base graphic, so if you are dropping cliffs with steezed-out methods people will notice.

I have to say it: I'm a believer in the Believer.

Comments about K2 Believer Snowboard 2010:

It was a sad day when the Eldorado was retired but the Believer is the best board I've ridden since - maybe better. Think about turning, it turns, it's fast enough, smooth, and forgiving. What's not to love?

Comments about K2 Believer Snowboard 2010:

This board is SICK, sick, sick! The flatline technology is perfect for everything. Totally stable ride, and great responsiveness everywhere on the mountain. Buy the CORRECT size for your weight, don't short yourself thinking you'll spin better 900's. This thing is light and diverse. Slightly shaved nose and tail are great for reduced swing weight and looks. medium/stiff mid-flex, great pop on reinforced nose and tail. Don't think about it, just buy it!
