The team-driven 2008 K2 Believer Snowboard puts that elusive 900 within your grasp. K2 team riders Bryan Fox and Louie Fountain tricked out the Believer with all of K2's high-tech features to help you spin that last half rotation. First, get more speed on the run-in with the Believer's super-fast Sintered 4000 base. Whether you need to speed-check or maintain a carve toward the lip, K2's Hyper Progressive sidecut provides super-easy turn initiation and a smooth, predictable ride. Dual torsion forks give you tons of pop off the lip, while a super-lightweight multi-core that tapers toward the nose and tail reduces swing weight for an easier, faster rotation. Stomp with confidence and ride away clean—you just landed it. Now take it to the powder—the 2008 K2 Believer's twintip Hyper Progressive shape rules in the backcountry too.

  • Hybritech Construction:Hybritech is the most effective way to make a snowboard. It takes a cap tip and tail and blends it into a sidewall along the running surface. K2 takes the time to create complex molds and parts that bring these two features together. It gives you low swing weight and optimized turn initiation at the ends combined with durability and damping on the running surface. This design produces high-performance boards that excel across any variety of mountain terrain, snow conditions and riding styles.
  • S-Class Technology:Taking full advantage of every moment you experience on snow, whether it's your first few turns or that last high-speed mission, S-Class technology is engineered to keep your legs at full potential for strong riding all day long. K2’s patent pending feature incorporates a vibration-absorbing layer, giving your muscles a well-deserved break from any and all board chatter. One more run anyone?
  • MultiCore:Two distinct wood species combined to create a core that gives the most natural damping without sacrificing strength and flex. The first wood is strong and snappy; the second is light, damp and durable.
  • Patented Torsion Fork Technology:Torsion forks provide directional stiffness and snap to maximize rider input and focus it for supreme performance. Forks are always used in pairs to provide a wide platform of stability, reducing board twist and washouts.

Comments about K2 Believer Snowboard 2008:

I just started snowboarding this year; rented the first few times to see if I liked it. Love it!! Got this new board and I'm very happy with it. Has a nice beveled edge for easy carving, seems quite durable, nice flex to it, very light weight and quite fast on the hill. I plan on hanging on to it for a few years atleast. So far I have no complaints about this Board. K2 works for me; right up there with Burton. Thanks Evo!

Comments about K2 Believer Snowboard 2008:

This is a great board! I use it for boardercross competitions, and even the occasional run through the park. My one complaint with it is the base. It dings somewhat easily, but it is easy to fix with some P-tex and as long as you reapply wax, the board should be in good shape!
