Rocker Type
BTX – GNU's BTX rocker profile places rocker between your feet, that transcends from flat to mild camber out to the contact points (tip and tail). This mellow blend of rocker and camber results in smooth riding, responsive turning, catch free jibbing and an epic float in pow.
Flex
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft-10 Stiff) – This snowboard has a flex rating of 4, indicating that it is perfect for all riders at any ability level. Not only will this flex perform well on groomers and pow, you can take it to the park with ease.
Shape
True Twin – A true twin snowboard shape is ideal for riders who want to ride switch or play in the park. The nose and tail are identical and the flex is evenly distributed throughout the entirety of the board. True twins are perfectly symmetrical.
Core
Great Lakes Aspen – Light, strong, smooth riding, higher density Aspen.
Colombian Gold – Strong, poppy, extra-light, golden colored, fast-growing farmed wood.
Paulownia – Incredible, ultra-lightweight, strong and poppy. Growing up to 20 feet a year once harvested, it grows back out of its own stump, making it extremely renewable.
Sidewalls
UHMW Sidewalls – Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls.
Base
Co-Extruded Base – Hard, fast and virtually maintenance free. GNU's sublimation system exclusive oddity, that loves a good wax but still slides great even when you forget to.
Die-Cut Base – Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Smart Magne-Traction™ – So clever! This special asymmetric Magne-Traction™ combines Finesse Serration on the toe side and Power Serration on the heel side. These edges have been fine-tuned to achieve a harmonious relationship between Mother Nature and snowboarding.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
