Forest Bailey is back on the grind introducing the GNU
Forest Spaceout PTX Snowboard, which is designed to harmonize your body's natural asymmetries by balancing the strengths of each side's turning mechanics. The Magne-Traction™ edges give you precise fingertip-like edge control and EC2 PBTX contour offers an easy ride and catch-free park freestyle performance. With the GNU
Forest Spaceout PTX Snowboard, it's time to get weird where new levels of performance and good times will be realized.
EC2 PBTX - Banana Rocker between your feet, elliptical camber at the tip and tails; this board rides halfway between Banana Tech and C2. It focuses a mild amount of pressure between your feet for carving, edge grip on ice, float in powder, and has the pop and tip-to-tail stability to stomp whatever you launch.
Flex Rating (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - 5-6 depending on size, a medium/stiff flex for easy turn initiation and forgiving landings
Twin Asymmetric - Symmetrical nose and tail shape, asymmetric sidecuts in middle
Pickle Technology - Asymmetric sidecuts and construction to balance the different turning mechanics required for heelside and toeside turns: Your body is asymmetric, your snowboard should be asymmetric.
Mervin AG Asymmetric Aspen
Sintered UHMW - This super tough base material holds wax well due to its compression formed amorphous polymer structure.
Magne-Traction - The serrated edges cut into the snow like a knife, giving you more edge hold and control than ever before, featuring 7 strategically located and sized bumps along each side of your sidecut. The biggest bumps are at and between your feet adding maximum control and power, while the bumps outside your feet are smaller and less aggressive providing tip and tail control but maintaining freestyle freedom.
