GNU Danny Kass C2BTX Snowboard 2012

GNU Danny Kass C2BTX Snowboard 2012: Ride the highflying, powerful GNU Danny Kass C2BTX Snowboard just like Olympian and US OPEN champion Danny Kass. Kass chooses GNU for a reason: with C2 Banana Magne-Traction Technology and an eco wood core this board has the perfect combination of camber at the tips and tails for pop at takeoff and landing stability.
Flex
Flex Rating: 6-7 (1 Soft-10 Stiff): The perfect combination of camber at the tips and tails for pop and take off/landing stability with Banana between your feet for float and unreal carving on hard pack and ice.
Construction and Core
Mervin AG2 Sustainable wood core with Sandwich construction and Quasi glass is durable, lightweight, and ready to take on whatever you want to throw at it.
C2 Power Banana/Camber Combo Tech & Magne-Traction (C2BTX) has rocker between your feet with a radial camber to contact points. This focuses pressure between your feet for easy turns, great edge hold on ice and max pressure to the tips and tails for power end-to-end stability, pop and max control in critical situations.
Shape
True Twin combined with a centered radial sidecut, means this board rides perfectly in both directions on any terrain
Banana Rocker tip and tail, traditional camber underfoot
Sidewalls, Edges and Base
Double sintered UHMW sidewalls
C2 Banana Camber combo with Magne-Traction 0.75 Shred technology gives better edge hold and makes for an easier ride. Magne-Traction edges cut into the snow like a knife giving you more edge hold and control. Magne-Traction has 7 distinct contact points strategically placed for tip/tail control while maintaining freestyle freedom
Sintered 9900 alloy base is fast as lightning.

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
  • Core/Laminates: Wood
