GNU Beauty C3BTX Snowboard - Blem - Women's 2014

The newest addition to the GNU B-Pro lineup is the GNU Beauty C3BTX Snowboard. This board might look beautiful, but it rides like a beast. Featuring a tapered directional shape with the GNEW! C3BTX camber (the way camber was meant to be), the Beauty is a freeride machine. C3BTX is a camber dominant rocker with camber underfoot and a mild Banana rocker between your feet for superior float in pow and freestyle freedom. This board is designed for the female shredder who wants to ride the whole mountain with a focus on freeriding and letting loose in the powder while still having the ability to turn on ice due to the infamous Magne-Traction edges. *Note: This is a factory blem board and may have slight cosmetic damage.*
Rocker Type
C3BTX Agro Performance Camber / Banana - The new C3BTX is camber the way it should have been designed, with aggressive, dominant cambers out to the contacts and mild rocker between your feet. C3BTX gives skilled riders precise tip and tail control, maximum end to end stability for big, high speed lines, takeoffs and landings. Subtle banana rocker gives freestyle freedom, float and incredible carving.

Flex
Flex 5 - 6 Depending on Size - Medium stiff flex handles everything from corduroy, powder, to big mountain obstacles. A slightly stiffer medium flex is designed to be versatile with a focus towards freeriding.
Shape
Directional Freeride / Freestyle - This is a directional shape, slightly tapered from tip to tail with a wider and longer nose to help you float through pow.
Core
SNF CGA1 (Columbian Gold, Aspen) - Ultra light and strong
Sidewalls
Fast, rugged UHMW sidewalls
Base
Sintered Base - Compression hardened amorphous UHMW skived from the billet to create the toughest, fastest, best wax holding base material around. This base slides best and fastest when waxed regularly to match local snow conditions.
Die-cut Base - Base color displayed may not be available. Base colors may vary.
Edges
Magne-Traction - Serrated edges give great edgehold all over the mountain, especially on hard pack and blue ice!
Topsheet
Co Ex Top - Polyester topsheet material

Specs

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freeride
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction.
  • Ability Level: Advanced-Expert
    Advanced-Expert
Whether you charge the steepest lines, carve with race-like precision, hit the biggest jumps or halfpipes; advanced to expert level skis/snowboards are for the more aggressive rider. You will often find the addition of layers of metal, carbon, bamboo, or other stringers in these. These features work to make a stiffer ski/snowboard with more power and rebound.
  • Rocker Type: Camber/Rocker/Camber
    Camber/Rocker/Camber
Camber/Rocker/Camber is a profile that’s specific to snowboards and which works because the rider’s weight flattens the two cambered areas. This design produces a strong, pressured carving zone between the rider’s feet and retains pop and carving precision at the tip and tail.
  • Shape: Directional
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
