Forum Destroyer DoubleDog Snowboard 2013

Tougher than tiger blood and deadlier than Dahmer, the Forum Destroyer DoubleDog Snowboard is ruthless on jumps, jibs and drops. Newly added DoubleDog with POP profile with Car Bombs is taking the game to the next level, elevating ollies and providing the force needed to stomp on the burliest kickers. This killer ride is sick and relentless underneath, yet retains a playful, easy going facade needed to slither and butter around. The Destroyer DoubleDog's grim graphic depicts what exactly this deck is up to, slaying everything in its path. Just watch your back, this board is under heavy surveillance.
Rocker Type
DoubleDog with Pop - Still offering that that forgiving playful ride with rocker sections between the feet and on the nose and tail, and camber sections under each foot. In addition, there are added zones of POP and spring just outside your feet. These added Pop zones provide additional surface area just inside the contact points at your nose and tail that allow you to really load up your nose and tail as you press into an Ollie or take off of a jump.
Flex
Flex Rating: 5 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) - A medium flex perfect for popping and pressing
Shape
Swingers Club - The tip and tail of the wood core are shaved precisely to save weight without sacrificing durability. This makes the board spin faster and float with less effort when the snow beckons.
Sidecut
Twin
Core
Gnar LE - Alternating Aspen with 18% Sustainable Lightweight Wood stringers, this core provides both a lively ride and powerful ollie. Grainbelt technology adds snap-resistant strength in the critical impact zone between the bindings.
NEW Car Bombs - No carbon here, instead fiberglass is used to get you the POP. Positioned just outside the feet running to the nose and tail of the board, these fiberglass inlays get the job done. Perfect for sending those booters and launching that hip, just remember to speed check. BOOM!
Laminates
Light Triax - Constructed to give a smooth flex from tip to tail and stability from rail to rail, Light Triax glass provides a smooth and lively feel fine-tuned to freestyle riding.
Base
Formula Base - The sintered base will get you up to speed and off the lip faster, so casing the knuckle is no longer a problem. Go fast and go big with this special formula.
Binding Compatibility
2x4 Inserts pattern

  • Terrain: Freestyle
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Roc/Cam/Roc/Cam/Roc
    Roc/Cam/Roc/Cam/Roc
This is a blend of camber and rocker, for the best of both worlds: rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float. Underneath the bindings there are camber zones for focused edge-control for added pop and power through turns.
  • Flex Rating: Medium
    Medium
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
