Flow Infinite Rocker Snowboard 2011 – The Flow Infinite Rocker Snowboard is one of the easiest boards to love, because, well, it’s one of the easiest boards to ride. Made to take on all facets of snowboarding, be it park, pipe, or metal, the Infinite features a Dual Transitional Sidecut, Lite Quadrax, and Whiskey Royale technology, all wrapped up into a graphically elite package for your pleasure. One of the most universal boards in the Flow line, the Flow Infinite Rocker Snowboard is waiting for you to take a test run.
Flex
This all mountain freestyle board features a directional shape that has a little more nose than tail and a set back insert pattern and flex for more performance in the forward direction and better floating in powder, thriving in any and all terrain. From park to pipe to pow, the directional twin has the shape to do anything.
Construction and Core
The TruFlex Core features a high strength-to-weight wood construction ratio, utilizing different density poplar woods uniquely profiled to give you excellent all-around response when riding the mountain. Whiskey Royale technology utilizes Biax Fiberglass beneath the heel and toe areas of the binding, eliminating chatter and making for a smoother ride: by directing the glass toward the edge, hold is increased while allowing for quicker, easier turn intiation. Lite Quadrax with Carbon is composed of 4 light layers of glass, resulting in increased strength and durability as well as a 0/+30/-30/90 fiberglass orientation that increases pop and stability while distributing binding pressure over a larger area from the 30 degree axis fibers, causing a more natural board flex that can’t be reached with typical Triax.
Base
The Sintered 4400 base is made with ultra-high molecular weight PE and the sintereing process catalyzes wax absorption, resulting in speed and hardness for added abrasion resistance.
Rocker
The I-Rock rocker profile combines a reverse camber and a convex base between your feet for mellow carving with no edge catching, combined with camber in the binding area that goes flat just before the nose and tail so you can attack the park or charge the whole mountain. Slightly tweaked from yester year, the I-Rock combines a surfy feel with pop and stability.
Sidewalls and Edges
The dual transitional sidecut utilizes a combination of 2 radii: first, a tight radius for quick, responsive carves and then blended with a mellow radius right before the nose and tail of the board for rough terrain, high speeds and the forgiveness you need while jumping.

Comments about Flow Infinite Rocker Snowboard 2011:

This review must be kept in context - I went from a 15 year old Marker snowboard to this Flow. I was wondering if I would notice much of a difference since I am not a hard core boarder but I spent the whole first day in disbelief at how awesome it rode. Made me fall in love with snowboarding again, easy maneuverability, light, flexible and I couldn't catch an edge. Lovin the new technology.

This is my first board and it's absolutely changed the way I ride. It's fast on the straights and has enough flexibility and pop that I can start to link together a few tricks.

Definitely would recommend this to anyone.

Comments about Flow Infinite Rocker Snowboard 2011:

First off, Im an intermediate rider here in the North West. Im 5'11 and 165 Lbs. I bought the 159 flow, sized board. I have had a Burton Cruzer 165, Lamar 163, Ride Timeless 157 and a K2 Darkstar Wide 157. That being said, I can only compare this board with those.
This board is fun. Its taper is very "non edge catchin" Its carves really well, and has a great edge hold. Its seems Stable at moderate speeds. I like to shred, not go down the mountain in a straight line.
My boot setup is still a little loose, so I have bought some other boots, tht should fit a little tighter, I believe it will make a big difference, in how I progress with this board.
This is my primary riding stick. Its sunk really bad in deep powder, I had to use my K2 in pow conditions, Every thing else to this point it has performed well.
The top sheet does scratch very easy, more then any other board I have owned. Thats the only flaw I have found with this Board.

The first snowboard I have personally owned, riding on this (versus rentals) was a dream. I can't wait for next season to take it out more!

Also, since it was an older model, the price was wonderful!
