Flex
This all mountain freestyle board features a directional shape that has a little more nose than tail and a set back insert pattern and flex for more performance in the forward direction and better floating in powder, thriving in any and all terrain. From park to pipe to pow, the directional twin has the shape to do anything.
Construction and Core
The TruFlex Core features a high strength-to-weight wood construction ratio, utilizing different density poplar woods uniquely profiled to give you excellent all-around response when riding the mountain. Whiskey Royale technology utilizes Biax Fiberglass beneath the heel and toe areas of the binding, eliminating chatter and making for a smoother ride: by directing the glass toward the edge, hold is increased while allowing for quicker, easier turn intiation. Lite Quadrax with Carbon is composed of 4 light layers of glass, resulting in increased strength and durability as well as a 0/+30/-30/90 fiberglass orientation that increases pop and stability while distributing binding pressure over a larger area from the 30 degree axis fibers, causing a more natural board flex that can’t be reached with typical Triax.
Base
The Sintered 4400 base is made with ultra-high molecular weight PE and the sintereing process catalyzes wax absorption, resulting in speed and hardness for added abrasion resistance.
Rocker
The I-Rock rocker profile combines a reverse camber and a convex base between your feet for mellow carving with no edge catching, combined with camber in the binding area that goes flat just before the nose and tail so you can attack the park or charge the whole mountain. Slightly tweaked from yester year, the I-Rock combines a surfy feel with pop and stability.
Sidewalls and Edges
The dual transitional sidecut utilizes a combination of 2 radii: first, a tight radius for quick, responsive carves and then blended with a mellow radius right before the nose and tail of the board for rough terrain, high speeds and the forgiveness you need while jumping.
