Flow Era Rocker Snowboard 2011

Flow Era Rocker Snowboard 2011: The Flow Era Rocker Snowboard is the bee’s knees of snowboards. Packed with innovative construction technology the Flow Era Rocker Snowboard is meant to give you a solid ride whether you’re ripping through pow or hucking some air in the park. Modified from last years model, the 2011 Flow Era Rocker Snowboard has more pop for aggressive park and all-mountain riding.
Flex
Good for all mountain riding; Whiskey Royal technology utilizes biax fiberglass inserts under the bindings to eliminate chatter and create a smooth ride or landing. By directing the glass toward the edge, Flow has increased hold while allowing for quicker, easier turn initiation that delivers a luxurious ride.
Construction and Core
Constructed with biaxial fiberglass for a softer, more forgiving ride
a TruFlex Core utilizes different density poplar woods to give an excellent all-around riding response any where on the mountain
Shape
True twin
Reverse camber I-rock and a convex base between your feet for mellow carving with no edge catching, combined with camber in the binding area that goes flat just before the nose and tail, so you can attack the park or charge the whole mountain
New EZ Transitional sidecut technology gives you a mellow radius between the feet and your tip meaning a more forgiving ride, the tight radius also allows for quick, snappy, powerful carving.
Base
Optix 2000 Base: A high-density extruded base that is extremely easy to maintain and fix. The Optix 2000 is one of the highest wax-absorbing bases on the market and will give you all the speed you would ever need even if you don’t wax it on a regular basis.

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
    All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
    Freestyle
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.

  • Ability Level: Intermediate-Advanced
    Intermediate-Advanced
The majority of skiers/snowboarders fall into this level, whether you like to carve on groomers or venture into the powder. These skis/snowboards may be somewhat wider than beginner-intermediate skis, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Depending on the type of ski, intermediate-advanced level skis may have full camber, rocker, or some combination of the two.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker
    Rocker
A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.
