Product Details

Rocker Type

Lock & LoadThe board has traditional camber throughout the midsection with longer, traditional contact points, creating a flat, stable platform. This skate-inspired camber profile has allowed DC to create an entirely new feeling of power and stability in these boards.

Flex

Flex Rating: 7 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)Retains some playfulness but definitely has more drive as opposed to less.

Core

Stratus CoreDC’s vertically laminated 100% poplar wood core is sporty, lightweight and maintains good pop. Excellent for park and urban riding.

Laminates

Bi-ax GlassTwo directions of glass fibers woven tightly together for a forgiving and torsionally flexible ride; this gives you a loose and buttery ride.

Base

Sintered Supreme BaseThe Sintered Supreme Base had a stonegrind finish and is lightning fast.

Topsheet

Fresh Deck Top SheetDC's new Fresh Deck topsheets give DC boards the same poppy feel you get from a skate deck. This technology adds a snap and life to the boards that you can get only with select natural wood. Sure, they look pretty but these topsheet laminates deliver pure performance, backed by several years of testing and development. The wood is sealed to protect it from the elements to maintain its new, naturally poppy feel.

Comments about DC Mega Snowboard 2014:

This is my favorite board. It is so light weight and fast. The pop on it is amazing I can get my ollies and launching off of jumps extremely high. The one down side is the top sheet scratches very easy. but all in all my favorite board.

Comments about DC Mega Snowboard 2014:

Board is super fast and stable with hard landings. 20% faster than the average snowboard. A bit too stable so it's hard to turn at slow speeds. Stiff so it's kinda awkward on rails, but it still works. Base is un sticky so be careful not to lose it by having it slide away from you while strapping in. I recommend stiff boots or bindings to assist with effectively maneuvering this board.

    I demoed this board btw.

Comments about DC Mega Snowboard 2014:

I have been riding for about 10 years now and have owned close to everything from park to powder, soft and stiff boards. This year I have been taking park riding more seriously. The second I Strapped in on this board I cant explain how but just felt confident. Then I noticed that the stiffness and the lock and load camber drastically improved my landings from spinning off larger jumps and would set me up flawlessly for the next feature. Oh yeah and the speed... This board is FAST! Great for the speed demons out there. The base holds wax like a champ and keeps you smoking downhill. This board is a must have if you are serious and want to take your game to the next level. You will not be disappointed

Comments about DC Mega Snowboard 2014:

Out of every board i've had from several brands this one is my favorite. Twin shape which makes it great for park, jumps, and ridding witch. Tough and fast base; I rode through a set of wooden stairs and the base didn't even have a scratch. This board has camber throughout and flat tip & tail which makes the board float on pow and aggressive while carving. My favorite aspect of the board is the stiffness because it provides tons of pop, stability for big jumps, control at nuclear speeds, yet you can still press without that much trouble. I recommend getting stiff bindings so that the boards responds as you wish.

Comments about DC Mega Snowboard 2014:

I used this board mainly on 10 to 20 ft jumps and some boxes. This board is super responsive and aggressive, gets lots of pop and holds up perfectly on landings and super high speeds. The graphics are rad and the top deck fresh sheet looks superb. I would strongly recommend to use stiff bindings with this board so that you can maneuver the board easily. You simply gotta have this board!
