CAPiTA Micro-Scope Snowboard - Youth 2012

Grom destroyers do exist and the CAPiTA Micro-Scope Snowboard exists for those looking to kill it on park jumps, boxes and any terrain they can get to. With a Micro RC rocker and WDT core the Micro-Scope is light, snappy, soft and can do tricks with little or no effort.
Rocker Type
Micro RC rocker is flat based from insert to inserts providing stability, and the elevated contact points turn on a dime and float effortlessly in pow.
Flex rating: 3 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) The CAPiTA Micro Scope Snowboard is a freestyle board for the park groms with a forgiving flex rating of 3 to help them along.
Construction and Core
WDT (Wood Derived Technology) Engineered Jib core was designed to give jibbers and park riders softer flex patterns without sacrificing durability, providing a new realm of lightweight, soft flexing boards with a damp ride and dependable durability.
Pre-Cured 420 fiberglass configuration compliments the WDT core construction, pre-cured for consistency, exiting the mold with a high yield of energy memory.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base
Convex Edges are raised off the snow to smaller riders don’t have to worry about catching an edge
Extruded Base that responds differently than a sintered base due to its lower molecular weight, meaning it excels in park attacks and urban jibbing and is easy to repair
360 Degree Steel Edges add some extra beef for more durability and control
Silkscreened ABS Bomb Proof Sidewalls

  • Terrain: All-Mountain, Freestyle
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice.
Freestyle or park snowboards tend to be a bit shorter in length and love terrain parks, rails, jibs, trash cans, tree trunks, riding switch (non-dominant foot forward), wall rides and more. Freestyle boards often feature a true twin shape, and are typically selected by those looking to ride the terrain park. A more versatile variant of a freestyle board is the all-mountain freestyle, which combines the versatility of an all mountain snowboard with the playfulness of a freestyle snowboard.
  • Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Someone who is new to the sport or working on linking smoother turns falls into this ability level. Typical beginner ski/snowboard qualities include: softer materials, narrower widths, and capped constructions. The idea is to create a ride that is easy to turn and very forgiving in case you become off balance or fall in the back seat. The addition of rocker in the tip and tail gives a catch-free feeling and shorter contact length when the ski/snowboard is flat on the snow, making it easier to turn.
  • Rocker Type: Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board.
