Burton Twin Snowboard 2008 – Grab the line between chaos and control and throw it in a choke hold. Lay waste to any transition when wheeling this twin-tipped chariot of destruction. At the team’s request, the Burton Twin Snowboard comes correct with a mid-wide waist width that allows for more stability when taking on any transition or kicker. With updated graphics for the 2008 season, the Burton Twin will only bring you more confidence for locking down that frontside through the kink or charge that impenetrable pipe wall. Mellow enough for pressing one over the battleship rail, yet solid enough for slaying the US Open’s bulletproof slopestyle course, the Burton Twin Snowboard always goes off.

  • Sintered Vision Base — Built for speed, low-maintenance and graphics that pop in photos. Plus the durability and superior wax absorption Burton’s sintered bases are known for. Park Fly III Core — Freestyle-focused flex and strength. Fly series is soft where you want it, stiff where you need it and super light all around.
  • Dualzone EGD — Burton’s exclusive Engineered Grain Technology [EGD] takes edge control one step further for increased hold and superior durability. Triax Response Fiberglass — Versatile flex and response. Increased torsional stiffness for precise edge hold and superior control, from straight-line descents to mellow laps through the park.
  • Infinite Ride — No more break-in period. No more limp noodle. Flex and pop that stays true, no matter how hard you ride. This exclusive pop and power-enhancing technology allows them to break in the board for you, while also increasing its strength. 10:45 Sidewalls — The Sergeant Slaughter of sidewalls. The toughest, most impact-absorbent sidewall geometry in snowboarding, 10:45™ optimizes two different angles to create the bomber edge strength aggressive shredders demand.
  • Pro-Tip — Another Burton first, tapering the thickness of the tip and tail dramatically reduces swing weight to help you get around that extra 180 also improves float in powder. Negative Core Profile — Thinner sections of core between the bindings provide softer flex and torsion, perfect for park, pipe and rails. These boards excel over a variety of snow conditions and terrain.

Comments about Burton Twin Snowboard (Black) 2008:

Overall the board is sweet. I personally love the graphics on the board. For use on everyday boarding, this does the trick. For parks and such, this board is awesome. I recently used this board out on a trip to Heavenly @ Lake Tahoe. The board handled all the trails, slopes with relative ease. Plus it got some nice looks too from the renters and Salomon owners. The board, having a shiny clearcoat, dings and scratches quite easily. The first couple ones you get will irritate you but eventually you'll stop caring like I did. Some people will argue that this board is a bit loose and not as firm as it could be which I tend to agree with. I would like it if this board was a bit stiffer with, possibly, the EST binding system on this. Carving up and down Heavenly was easy with this board and, it being a twin shape, made for easy transitions. Overall, the board is great for a novice (if you have no issues with paying [$]+ for a board) or the intermediate/advanced rider. For most recreational users, this board will suit just fine. In term of Burton's offering of boards, this one and the Air are probably the best suited for all around use on any slope/terrain.
