Product Details

Rocker Type

Flying V™A Springloaded blend of camber and rocker performance, Flying V™ offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float through pow. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for crisp snap, added pop, and power through turns.

Flex

Directional FlexThis versatile flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control and flow through all terrain and conditions.

Infinite Ride™This Burton-exclusive technology allows for maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop and feel from the first day forward, season after season.

Shape

TwinThe shape is perfectly symmetrical for a balanced ride that's equally versatile when ridden regular or switch. Jib, spin, stomp, and butter with a greater balance of freestyle mobility and cat-like stability no matter which way you point it.

Pro-Tip™A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.

ScoopThis exaggerated tip and tail scooping turns the edges up for a looser, more forgiving feel that adds catch-free fun when riding everything from a knee-high box to neck-deep pow.

Core

Super FlyLightened up and loaded with pop, this vertical sandwich of hard and soft woods saves weight and improves snap and response. Further optimized for float in Burton freeride focused boards and strength in Burton park-focused boards.

Dual Zone™ EGD™Engineered Grain Direction manipulates the angles and direction of wood grains in the core for superior edge-hold, response, and durability.

SqueezeboxThis improves performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from where it originates beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board more stable and easily manipulated.

Laminates

Triax™ FiberglassVersatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred

Jumper CablesUltra-light carbon stringers that radiate energy outward from your feet towards the tip and tail. Beyond adding amplitude to your ollies, they also create more snap when powering through turns.

Sidewalls

10:45 SidewallsAggressive rippers take note. 10:45’s extra-meaty, dual angle geometry results in bomber impact absorption.

Base

Sintered BaseSintered bases are super-fast. Polyethylene pellets are forced together under extremely high pressure. The result is a singular piece of connected pellets with tiny pores across the entire base. Sintered bases absorb hot wax really well.

Edges

Frostbite EdgesEdges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edgehold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don’t, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining forgiving in softer conditions.

Comments about Burton Process Flying V X Snowboard - Blem 2014:

Look. I'm not a gear head, but I know what feels good and what doesn't. This board is a lot of fun. Ordered it on a whim before heading out to Vail - great decision. Responsive, lightweight, rides like a dream, great carving. Can't give a better recommendation. It's a great addition to my fleet.
